Yeah, the RCF is not TOO bad. Still very overstyled, like most cars at the moment, but the side and back are ok. The interior is verrry rad. Love those seats.

Happy MotoGP day lol

Wet race again. Looked like Jlo was going to run away with it with Rossi in 2nd. But the track was drying out in parts and destroying their front tyers. Pedro started to catch up and overtook Rossi then overtook Jlo. Rossi managed to close up on Jlo and overtook him.
Pedro
Rossi
Jlo
Rossi extends his lead to 18 points with 3 races left. At one stage it looked like Jlo was going to cut it down to 5.

does this guy ( Jlo ) ever stop complaining..
even after qualy when Rossi put down the fastest lap to have provisional pole Jlo "mabye Valentino was able to go abit faster when he was following me"

for gods sake, yer he was behind him but not close enough to get a tow in the first few laps, but when Rossi put down the fastest lap, he did it on his own with no one infront of him.. Jlo had just left pitlane.. douche..

cant the guy just admit today Vale and Pedro were faster then me, i suck at racing in the wet,, i dont know how to manage a wet weather tyre!!

QUOTE
I have to be really disappointed because again the conditions, the weather, didn't help us to get the best result: first, because it rains and in dry conditions I believe I was the fastest and the one who has the better pace, he said.

But especially because it rains and finally I was the fastest on full wets, then this time the conditions change and it dries up and this was the reason today why I couldn't win the race.

I was really fast, really concentrated and I made more or less the same race as Niccolo [Antonelli] and [Johann] Zarco, but I didn't have the same luck like them to ride in the full wet.

Obviously, if I knew that the track was going [to] dry, I wouldn't have pushed so much at the beginning, but I think everyone believed that the track will keep wet for the race and I make what I have to do, he added.

[I] just didn't have the luck in the circumstances, like in some other races this year this is why we are losing points, but finally in a difficult situation we did the maximum we can and we lose four points; I could have lost 20 points if I had crashed in Turn 3, but I saved.

there's always an excuse Doc, that's why he's the first loser. mamoru.gif

i had an exciting day watching Bathurst. funny that Whincup stuffed up yet again with his pit strategy - and ignored team orders( two years in a row) to come in and pit. he passed the safety car under yellow, then was given a drive through penalty for doing so. after that he ran of the track at the same spot two laps in a row lol

he's lucky the women's team crashed into the wall on someone else's oil or he could have finished behind them. laugh.gif

WORLDS FASTEST Audi R8 - 2100hp+ Twin Turbo!!!

Published on Oct 9, 2015
A new 2100+hp king has stepped up the to podium! This beautiful Underground Racing Twin Turbo Audi R8 takes the crown and reigns champion above all in the Texas Invitational Fall 2015 event. Facing tough competition, this car consistently ran over 200mph MULTIPLE times throughout the day, peaking out at a whopping 213mph! These speeds are insane when you compare them to previous event. The 2000+hp T1 Race GT-R was tough competition, but the R8 held him off. This car is extremely unsuspecting - sitting on R888 street tires, you would think this beast is stock unless someone told you!

Jim Diamond has died at the age of 64.

The Scottish singer-songwriter - who was best known for hits including 'I Won't Let You Down', 'I Should Have Known Better' and 'Hi Ho Silver' - passed away at his London home, leaving his family "deeply shocked by his sudden death".

A statement added: "He was a devoted family man who loved his wife Chrissy and his children Sara and Lawrence, and the music that he continued to make.

"He dedicated a lot of time over recent years to the Cash for Kids charity appeal in Scotland with his friend Sir Tom Hunter and was still active and well respected on the music scene.

"He'll be much missed by all who knew him and everyone who loved his music and his unique voice and style."

Jim's passing comes just a few weeks after the death of his mother.

He wrote on Facebook on September 28: "Sad to say I lost my mum Sarah last week people say they have the best mum in the world, I did.

"If you look up tonight and see a couple dancing on a cloud to the sound of the Count Basie big band that's my mum and dad. As always peace to you all Jx (sic)"

QUOTE
"I Should Have Known Better" was a UK number one single for one week in December 1984 for Jim Diamond. The song was displaced after one week by Frankie Goes to Hollywood's song "The Power of Love".

The GT was a limited run (they made 333) of the V10 that had 40 more HP, 100kgs less weight, and a body kit (wing, etc). They made them only '11-13. It's the definitive R8 to me - much rather have a lightly used one of those than a brand new second gen V10 (there is no second gen GT yet). God those things are ugly.

Jlo still complaining about his bad luck all season saying he's the fastest.. "i been the fastest all year".

being the fastest doesnt always mean you are the best rider..
he may be the fastest out there yes, but Rossi atm is leading the WC.
Rossi could set anothre record this week if he wins.. would be the only rider to win 7 times at Phillip Island..
pretty sure this WC will go down the the last race at Valencia..

Doc
Post #10318

every rider is racing with the same conditions as him so its not bad luck.. he just cant admit another rider/riders were faster then him or smarter on race day..and thats when it counts..
As for the helmet issues, that's what you get for not opting for one of the premium brands.

Maybe he is the fastest but he doesn't seem to be able to adapt as well as some of the other riders when things are not exactly how he would like.

QUOTE
In Qatar, I had the problem of the helmet and in some other races I was the fastest in the dry and it rains, so I couldn't take profit of my speed to get 25 points in two, three or four races, Lorenzo said.

QUOTE
Today, I was the fastest one in the dry and in the wet, but it dries up after a wet beginning and I couldn't win the race I believed I could have won.

So yes, I believe at this moment of the championship especially but in general, I am the fastest one this year because [of] the bike, my speed, my concentration. But these are the circumstances at this moment and maybe it will change in the next rounds.

Asked for his thoughts on the reason for the degradation of his front Bridgestone tyre, Lorenzo said: As Valentino say, it can be the setting, the riding or the push I made at the beginning of the race - I don't know.

Lorenzo rode with the winglets on the front of his YZR-M1 at Motegi in contrast to Rossi, who opted to race without them, but brushed off a question over why he made the decision for the race after riding without them in practice and qualifying.

I used them in the qualifying in Misano and then Valentino uses in the race, then I use them in the warm-up and race of here, so next time it's Vale's turn, Lorenzo said.

QUOTE
In the post-race press conference, Rossi was informed that he could afford to finish second in each of the final three rounds of the championship and still become world champion even if Lorenzo completed a hat-trick of wins, but the wily 36-year-old was reluctant to entertain the notion.

For me, it is quite impossible; it's very difficult from now until the end [that] we are always first and second because the two Hondas are very strong and in three races we will have completely different conditions and three very different types of track, Rossi said.

I never do these type of calculations because in 99 per-cent of times it don't happen, so we need to concentrate on Phillip Island and try to arrive in front of Jorge: this is the target, more than making the calculations of arriving behind.

Rossi admitted that he was able to use Pedrosa to boost his own pace in the race and close in on long-time leader Lorenzo to challenge for second place, eventually gaining the position when his title rival almost ran off the track at Turn 3.

Apprently in the same interview Rossi also called lorenzo "disrespectful" to say Rossi was leading the WC because of "luck"

Every rider needs a little bit of luck along with speed and skill, I think Jlo is either sore from loosing out to Rossi or he is just being disrespectful to not only Rossi but all other riders in the class.

QUOTE
Dani helped me because in that moment he arrived very well and he give me the slipstream but also some good lines and some good information, said Rossi.

But is was a strange moment of the race because at this moment Jorge was very strong and very confident but we started to go slower, together, but the distance remained always the same.

I tried to use Dani to catch Jorge and I was able to arrive, but it depends very much also of the condition of the tyre in that moment.

Offering his view on why his front tyre appeared to hold out longer than Lorenzo's on the drying track, Rossi said: It's very difficult to say, [it] could be some difference in the riding style or difference in the setting, but I don't know.

Rossi opted to ride without the winglets on his M1 while Lorenzo favoured the aerodynamic upgrade, but the Italian joked that his bike was better without them.

For me, it was better [without the winglets] because I arrive in front without the wings, but I don't know for Jorge why he use them, he said.

How the BB-8 Sphero Toy Works

Published on Oct 1, 2015
We recently visited the workshop of Mike Senna, a droid builder who has made his own R2-D2 and Wall-E robots. Mike's next project is recreating the BB-8 droid featured in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens! We discuss what's known so far about how BB-8 was built for the film, how a remote-controlled model could be built, and take apart a BB-8 Sphero to see if we can learn anything from the small-scale toy!

The Texas students using dildos to fight guns

QUOTE
The organisers of Campus (Dildo) Carry want you to know they realise that some will find their effort silly, but they say that they are serious.

Under a new Texas law that takes effect next year for four-year public colleges and in 2017 for community colleges, people will be able to carry guns on campuses, Inside Higher Ed reported. The law was backed by pro-gun groups and conservative politicians, but opposed by many higher education administrators and faculty members. While critics of the law won the right for colleges to create rules that may regulate or limit guns in some parts of campuses, their arguments against guns on campus generally fell on deaf ears.
Could a dildo campaign change minds? Organisers note that the rules of the University of Texas at Austin appear to bar anyone from carrying on campus any visual image that would be associated with obscenity. So the idea is to strap gigantic swinging dildos to our backpacks in protest of campus carry, according to a description on the groups Facebook page.
The State of Texas has decided that it is not at all obnoxious to allow deadly concealed weapons in classrooms, however it does have strict rules about free sexual expression, to protect your innocence. You would receive a citation for taking a dildo to class before you would get in trouble for taking a gun to class, adds the explanation. This is based on a university regulation barring conduct that would violate state law on obscenity.
