And with the accelleration capabilities of this wild ride...that is the last thing anyone is going to see!
Its hard to sum this car up in a paragraph.
It simply is an amazing vehicle, with the most stellar and impressive history that perhaps any
VW in the world could ever have. Paul Newman was an amazing man. His life was one lived
to a level that all men dream of living. He worked hard, he played hard, and he gave back to the world
far more than he ever took. He is a legend beyond any shadow of a doubt.
And this little humble red VW is an iconic representation of the quest for life and fun that he had.
You only live once folks...might as well have some fun while you are here!
I cant think of ANY cars at the moment that would be more fun to go for a blast in than this one.
Once in a lifetime chance here...grab it if you can!
And the best part about it is that even though it is a silly wild creation, the build was done on a totally serious level.

Best-selling author Jackie Collins dies aged 77 after battle with breast cancer 1/19

Best-selling English author Jackie Collins has died aged 77 after a battle with breast cancer, her family said in a statement.

"It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and one-of-a-kind mother, Jackie Collins, who died of breast cancer today," the Collins family told People magazine in a statement.

"She lived a wonderfully full life and was adored by her family, friends and the millions of readers who she has been entertaining for over four decades.

"She was a true inspiration, a trailblazer for women in fiction and a creative force.

"She will live on through her characters but we already miss her beyond words."

Diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer six years ago, Collins chose to keep her illness almost entirely to herself, confiding primarily in her three daughters, People reported.

Memorial services in both the United States and the United Kingdom will be held privately, it said.

Collins wrote 32 novels, all of which appeared on The New York Times bestsellers list.

Her books sold more than 500 million copies in 40 countries.

Eight of her novels have been adapted to film or television mini-series including Hollywood Wives, Lady Boss, The Bitch and Yesterday's Hero.

Her first book, The World Is Full Of Married Men, became a sensational bestseller because of its open sexuality and the way it dealt honestly with the double standard.

Collins was born in London in 1937 and married twice. She had three daughters — Tracy, 54, Tiffany, 48, and Rory, 46.

She lived in Beverly Hills until her death.

VIC: Cops catch drunk learner driver chucking burn-out with mum

A 24-YEAR-OLD learner driver has had his car impounded under the hoon legislation after he was allegedly caught red-handed driving drunk and performing a burn-out with his mother in the car.

Police were patrolling Main Street, Mornington when they say they heard the sound of screeching tyres about 1am.

Officers found a 24-year-old learner performing a burn-out in a Mercedes sedan with his mum in the car.

The man was subjected to a roadside breath test, in which he allegedly returned a positive result, however he refused to accompany police back to the station for a formal breath analysis.

He was arrested for being drunk in a public place and his car was impounded for 30 days under the hoon legislation.

It is expected he will be charged on summons with refuse to accompany to a station for a breath test, drive a vehicle causing loss of traction, careless driving and drunk in a public place.

A short time later another vehicle arrived at the scene and parked in a disabled car park without displaying a permit.

The 31-year-old man was found to be unlicensed and the brother of the man just arrested.

He received an infringement notice for unlicensed driving, parking in a disabled parking bay and another notice for altering the car registration plate.

His car, a silver Holden Astra, was also impounded.

Both men will pay $950 in towing and storage costs to get their cars back.

Tiger Woods out for rest of year after successful back surgery

Tiger Woods will not play competitive golf again this year after having successful surgery on his back.

Woods went under the knife in Utah on Wednesday, having a second microdiscectomy - the first was done in March 2014.

The former world No 1 was due to play in the Frys.com Open, Bridgestone America's Golf Cup in Mexico City and the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas before the end of the year, but he will miss all of those engagements.

Woods has endured a poor season, with his best finish coming when 10th in the Wyndham Championship in August - that will turn out to be his last tournament of 2015.

"This is certainly disappointing, but I'm a fighter," said 14-time major champion Woods. "I've been told I can make a full recovery, and I have no doubt that I will.

"I'd like to send my regrets to Frys and all those associated with the America's Golf Cup.

"Those were two events I was really looking forward to playing. I was ready to start the 2015-16 PGA TOUR season at Frys, and I was excited to join my good friend Matt [Kuchar] in Mexico City.

"I will be attending my foundation-hosted Hero World Challenge but won't be able to play.

"I appreciate everything that Hero does for the Tiger Woods Foundation, and I have a great personal relationship with Mr. Munjal [vice chairman and CEO of Hero MotoCorp]. I look forward to being there to support my event.

"I appreciate the fans' concern and support. This is unfortunate, but these things happen. I've been injured before and played again. It won't be any different this time."

Neurosurgeon Dr Charles Rich, who performed a similar operation on Woods in March 2014, said: "With the upcoming off-season, the decision was made to remove a small disc fragment that was pinching his nerve.

"The microsurgery was a complete success and he was discharged Thursday night."

The only apt way to describe this GT-R is to call it utterly insane. Yes, insane gets used a lot as a buzzword, but it is absolutely applicable here. Over two thousand horsepower in a car is mind boggling, and the fact that this GT-R actually still looks pretty cool is even better. Check out that subway tunnel they call an exhaust coming out of the hood and the huge turbo inlets in the front of the car! Going 7 seconds in a quarter mile after not racing for a few years is absolutely stunning!

Volkswagen could face 11.6 billion pounds penalties from U.S. EPA

WASHINGTON/DETROIT (Reuters) - Volkswagen AG faces penalties up to $18 billion (11.58 billion pounds) after being accused of designing software for diesel cars that deceives regulators measuring toxic emissions, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said on Friday.

"Put simply, these cars contained software that turns off emissions controls when driving normally and turns them on when the car is undergoing an emissions test," Cynthia Giles, an enforcement officer at the EPA, told reporters in a teleconference.

Volkswagen can face civil penalties of $37,500 for each vehicle not in compliance with federal clean air rules. There are 482,000 four-cylinder VW and Audi diesel cars sold since 2008 involved in the allegations. If each car involved is found to be in noncompliance, the penalty could be $18 billion, an EPA official confirmed on the teleconference.

A U.S. Volkswagen spokesman said the company "is cooperating with the investigation; we are unable to comment further at this time."

The feature in question, which the EPA called a "defeat device," masks the true emissions only during testing and therefore when the cars are on the road they emit as much as 40 times the level of pollutants allowed under clean air rules meant to ensure public health is protected, Giles said.

The EPA accused Volkswagen of using software in four-cylinder Volkswagen and Audi diesel cars from model years 2009 to 2015 made to circumvent emissions testing of certain air pollutants.

The cars are not facing recall at this time, the EPA said. VW did not indicate on Friday how it will address the issue.

The EPA has the authority to order VW to recall the vehicles. However, that process could take up to a year, depending on the complexity of the issue, an EPA official said.

The diesel-powered vehicles involved from the 2009 to 2015 model years are the VW Jetta, VW Beetle, VW Golf and the Audi A3, as well as the VW Passat from model years 2014 and 2015.

VW in North America has heavily marketed its vehicles as being "clean diesel."

In a television commercial that has aired frequently this year in the United States, VW says it is the "No. 1 diesel car brand in America," brags its cars are "clean diesel" and asks viewers, "Isn't it time for German engineering?"

Since 2009, diesel vehicles have made up approximately 15 percent of VW and Audi U.S. sales.

Went to see the Orthopedic Surgeon that's going to do my hip,today for a 'meet,and greet',and of course the Mrs tagged along.He asked me how I was going pain wise,and because I retired a month ago,I stated that I thought I could put up with it for a while yet,but the Mrs butts in 'He's moaning in his sleep',and old mate says 'yep men have a tendency not to be truthful about their pain' (f'king conspiracy)


On a positive note,it looks like in the fifteen years since I had the other one done,they have bought out a full race jobby,that last even longer,and my current one,(which is now the next model down now)even though it has nearly reached it's use-by date,is still functioning well.So now I can really look forward to lighting up the security scanners at the airport

VW Stock Crashes After Admitting It Rigged US Emission Tests

Volkswagen's share price fell 15.75 percent in early trading Monday following the German automaker's admission that it rigged U.S. emissions tests for about 500,000 diesel cars.

VW chief Martin Winterkorn said in a statement Sunday that he was "deeply sorry that we have broken the trust of our customers and the public." The company has ordered an investigation and promised to cooperate with U.S. regulators.

VW's stock price stood at 136.78 euros ($156.19) on the Frankfurt stock exchange at 10 a.m. (0800 GMT) Monday.

As supercars go, a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is up there with the best of them, but when the driver lost control of the car on New South Head Road, Vaucluse, a car enthusiast's dream soon turned into a nightmare.

The car’s driver and owner lost control on a bend and crashed the luxury motor into a nearby tree – uprooting it - and badly damaging the right front, right wing and back of the V12 supercar.

The Volkswagen Group could finally be preparing to enter Formula One, and enter it in a big way. That is, at least, if the latest reports prove accurate. And given the source, we're taking notice.
The word around the paddock this weekend in Singapore has it that VW is entering into a partnership with Red Bull Racing that would see the German auto giant not only supply the team with engines, but buy the team altogether. The move would come as a welcome development for Red Bull, which took four consecutive world championships between 2010 and 2013, but has fallen off pace over the past couple of seasons due in large part to the under-performance of its Renault engines.

High Speed Stolen Motorcycle Car Chase

I was at my friend’s house last night, he heard his strange sound outside so he decided to check on his motorcycle. His previous motorcycle was stolen from his apartment and his current motorcycle was almost stolen another time. After noticing that he couldn’t see his motorcycle, he notice 2 men, one White male and one Hispanic male rolling his bike into a trailer. He yelled for me and I immediately know what was going on. I ran outside and the thieves were speeding away. I jumped in my car and yelled for my friend to grab his cell phone. We chased them and this is what happened.

The truck and trailer were stolen. The truck was okay and returned to the owner. The trailer was damaged badly and towed away.
I was getting a lot of hate mail for this video so I took it down but I decided to repost it. Its funny, I tried to do the right thing and people freak out when I try do something about it. Please repost this and subscribe
