this deserves posting. A new video has been released by Omaze that features Zachary Quinto and the rest of cast and crew of Star Trek Beyond honoring the wonderful legacy of the late Leonard Nimoy. The video spotlights one of Nimoy's favorite charities, which you can donate to right here. By donating, you enter to win a chance to have a walk-on role in the Justin Lin-directed sci-fi film. In addition to the grand prize of a walk-on role in Star Trek Beyond, each week we’re randomly selecting an additional winner to join the To Boldly Go Crew. The members of this honorary crew will visit the set, hang with the cast, and watch as they film scenes from the new film. Every $10 entry supports nine global organizations each nominated by members of the cast. Check out other once-in-a-lifetime experiences at omaze.com. This is a very touching video that pays tribute to a great man. After watching it I was once again reminded by how much he's going to be missed by all of us fans. |

QUOTE GARAGE SALE MARKS END OF ERA FOR ALLAN MOFFAT
Fans will have the chance to snap up some rare memorabilia as racing royalty Allan Moffat prepares to close his famous workshop in Toorak, Melbourne. The 75-year-old Moffat has elected to sell the property, where he has operated his racing and business affairs since 1961. The workshop housed all of Allan Moffat Racing’s famous competition vehicles over four decades before being rented by a Porsche repair business in recent years. With the land to be redeveloped by its new owners, Moffat’s son and current V8 Supercars driver James is organising a garage sale that will offer a variety of items to the public. “It’s been a big job going through it all but there’s a lot of interesting bits and pieces that we’ve dug up,” Moffat told Speedcafe.com. “There’s a lot of unique items like Allan Moffat Racing toolboxes and workshop benches, ANZ sponsor banners and Peter Stuyvesant pit boards, as well as some model cars and magazines. “It’s sad in a way to see the workshop going. I’ve got memories of being in there when I was a kid, but reality dictates that everything has got to move on at some point.” The sale will run over the September 5-6 Father’s Day weekend at 711 Malvern Road, Toorak, 3142, starting at 8am Saturday. |

Bad photo shop is bad! I could've posted up the front view, it's as old as the hills, and is definitely NSFW (plus also photo shopped),but if you Google Image 'Volkswagen with vagina painted on the bonnet',you will see what I'm talking about In other news, they're still talking 70% chance of 15mm plus storms, but in the arvo, for tomorrow,so I hope it all works out OK,and you have a great day |

Saw a Bit of road raged his morning lol Some douche in new wrx trying to be a poser and do a flyby past me. So I get into it as he pulls out from behind me. Blocked his path lol. So he falls back in behind me and I hope for a little play at the next lights. Next thing I can't see him. He's switched over 2 lanes and nailed it, and jumps across 2 lanes no indicators and almost cut off some guy in a 4b.Dude in 4b catches up to him at the lights and says something to him. Douche in wrx throws coffe all over this guy and his car.Guy in 4b throws can of coke at wrx but misses. 4b takes chase and there is a red lightI'm like wheres my phone to record for lols this will be interesting.Douche in wrx sees red light and makes a b line for garden city and nails it to get away. Unlikely 4b caught up. Pretty gutless imo. Ya bloody Hoon Doc! Here's another one,how this bloke can be driving a car like this when he's only had his P's for three months stumps me P-plater clocked at 226km/h on Mitchell Freeway QUOTE A P-PLATE driver clocked at 226km/h has lost his high-powered car for 28 days — but a former police officer believes penalties should go futher. The 23-year-old Lockridge man — who had held a licence for less than three months — was clocked about 5am last Saturday speeding in his Subaru WRX STI at 226km/h by a fixed camera in Stirling, on the Mitchell Freeway. The speed limit in the area is 100km/h. The man was charged with reckless driving. http://www.news.com.au/national/western-au...n-1227502254988 |

P-plater clocked at 226km/h on Mitchell Freeway http://www.news.com.au/national/western-au...n-1227502254988 5am on a Saturday on the Mitchell Freeway, Likely there is no one on the road so early on a weekend and its on a straight road. For an experienced driver this is no problem, but for a person who has held their license for less than 3 months, this is a bit dangerous |

Dai.

I've been seeing a few p platers in Brisbane driving sti's,r32 GTR and R8's. Unfortunately the justice system in this country has no balls, should be instant loss of vehicle and no license for 2 years doing shit like that. I wonder who the dead shit was that could allow rookie drivers to drive high powered sports cars. |

Exactly Dai,here in NSW,40Kph over the signposted limit is instant disqualification, and I would say with those speeds here,he could kiss his license, vehicle, and his arse goodbye |
