French official with knowledge of the investigation said that the object appeared to be a wing flap, possibly from a Boeing 777, the type of aircraft used on the flight. The official said that the object was about nine feet (2.7 metres) long and three feet (one metre) wide, and that it appeared to have been in the water for a very long time. Flight 370, a Boeing 777 with 239 people on board, veered off its planned route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing and stopped communicating with ground controllers shortly after midnight on March 8, 2014. It flew westward across the Malay Peninsula and then southward over the Indian Ocean, and it is presumed to have crashed there in very deep water, killing everyone aboard. Months of extensive air and sea search efforts have so far failed to find any trace of the aircraft. |

For 2004, its 13B workhorse rotary received significant changes to curb fuel consumption and emissions, emerging as the naturally aspirated 197-hp “Renesis” (otherwise known as 13B-MSP, for multi-side port) in the engine bay of the 2004 RX-8. But despite the passage of time and technical advancements, the most modern of all Mazda rotaries still couldn’t hide its direct lineage to the 13B two-rotor engine that debuted here in 1974 under the hoods of the Cosmo, the RX-4, and the Rotary Pickup. As it appeared in the 2011 RX-8 for its swan-song performance, the twin-rotor Renesis produced 222 hp at 8500 rpm and 159 lb-ft of torque at 5500 rpm—its redline was a lofty and symphonic 9000 rpm. Mazda has been hinting for a while now that the recent stoppage of rotary production is just an interlude. The company told us that while the majority of the company’s engineering resources are focused on the development of its Skyactiv technology, it is continuing to work on its next-generation, Skyactiv-based rotary. |

Doc,you were saying you couldn't get into Mad Max Fury Road,I watched it a couple of weeks ago,and it is slow to get going,but if you stick with it,turns into a good movie.I could sit through it again,and I think the way it finished,there will be more. |

Also agree with you,that Liam Neeson movie Run All Night,is probably his best,a lot better than the 'Taken' series i did end up watching it all.. for me it was very bizar, not what i was expecting.. kind of like the Lucy movie.. sitting there watching thinking WTF.. had a feeling immortal Joe was Toecutter from the original Max film.. Didnt like Furious 7 either.. way to much bullshit.. they have lost the plot.. |

well that didn't last long. Daves been racing his mates GMC Sonoma for years, top of the Street Outlaws list, goes out and builds his own car and writes is off with a month or two. QUOTE Street Outlaws Daddy Dave Rolls Goliath 6 Times at No Prep Race Within the last couple of months, we have seen the rise of Goliath, a Daddy Dave creation that was one of the nastiest Chevrolet Novas to hit the street. Unfortunately, though, last night at a no prep drag race, we saw the demise of the car just a few weeks after our initial reveal of the car. Unfortunately, it looks like the car is pretty much toast, but luckily and more importantly, despite a seatbelt failure, Dave was able to survive the insane carnage and is now recovering with a few injuries. You can check out the video below as what looked to be an average crash situation got violent in a hurry. We here at Speed Society are sending out our prayers for a full and speedy recovery and hope that you will do the same. |
