That's it, i've got my pizza supplies, time to batten down the hatches and not move 'til next week.. except for going to the gym of course, no plans otherwise Happy Easter everybody. Sounds like a smart move Alpha, and have a great Easter Off to see Fast 7 tonight, lets hope its as good as everyone says it is. RIP Paul Walker Be interested to hear what you think of it I'm hitting the road in the shitbox. going camping with some mates at wombeyan caves. about 3.5hrs each way. should be a good test for the car fully loaded. see how it goes with fuel etc Checked it out on Google, looks like a great spot, but it looks like you too may be setting up camp in the rain unfortunately |

nice no spoilers!!!!!!! going to see it myself next week, will let the crowds die down a bit. I'll try not to spoil anything from the film. For me personally, I didn't like it. I'm fine with lots of action scenes but the vast amount of stunts were clearly fake and more importantly near impossible. It was just a bit too fake for me, borderline childish. Just one example is jumping from one high rise building to another. Many other examples. There were some nice asses though |

is it just me or does the front bar look like they ripped off the R35 and with the door handles.. QUOTE SUBARU SHOWS OFF TURBOCHARGED STI PERFORMANCE BRZ Ever since the Subaru BRZ came out, owners and enthusiasts have been long awaiting to see a turbo variant be released, or alternatively modified theirs with an aftermarket turbocharger (Toyota 86 market included). At the 2015 New York Auto Show, Subaru finally answered prayers for those who have been waiting for a turbo version, albeit slightly with their STI Performance BRZ concept. The new concept takes a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder turbocharged boxer engine from Subaru’s GT300 race car and places it into a body stiffened chassis. The result is an estimated 225kW and 450Nm of torque. Suspension is handled by Bilstein and 19 inch BBS wheels grace the wheel arches. Design wise the STI Performance gains a more aggressive look with widened fenders, an aerodynamic carbon fibre rear wing, a carbon fibre rear diffuser, side mirrors, side skirts and fender vents. Subtle changes such as flush door handles, new headlights and new tail lights have also been added. Inside there’s Recaro seats with leather and alcantara accents, a data logger, STI branding and even more carbon fibre. STI president Yoshio Hirakawa took the opportunity from the release to express a statement regarding the Subaru Technica International brand. “At STI we know from our racing that to win, it is important not only to have high power, but also that all aspects of performance are balanced over the whole car. Our plan is to produce cars and accessories that drivers can really enjoy.” Whilst the STI Performance BRZ is merely a concept at this stage, we’re hoping it’s an insight into a performance variant to be introduced sometime in the near future. http://www.the-lowdown.com/sti-performance-brz/ |

I think sport cars peaked at around the late 90s earlys 2000s. Now it is more of monotones how much horsepower can you put into an engine, how fast can you go Couldn't disagree more. Never been a more exciting time to be a car enthusiast. |

found this written about the Subaru BRZ STI concept in the coverage of the 2015 New York Motor Show........ QUOTE SUBARU BRZ STI PERFORMANCE CONCEPT
Just wow, right? Just build it already Subaru, yes? Thats how brilliant the BRZ STI Performance Concept is. Officially, its billed as a toe in the water for STI in the U.S. to show what the performance tuning division could offer. Unofficially, its almost a dead cert, so positive has the reaction to it been. Dont get too excited, though, because for all the extra wings, big wheels, aero addenda and wide-arch body, it still lacks something obvious: a turbo. It uses the engine from the Subaru Super GT race car, but the 345hp turbo motor sat next to it on the stand is coincidental. Still, if it does look like this, and does go faster than standard, well be very happy indeed. |

And if they do sure it will have a price tag of about 60-70k |
