we all love a good news story. QUOTE Sam Frost strips off
Sam Frost has gone topless for the latest cover of Maxim. The former Bachelor contestant has stripped off for the latest issue of the men's magazine, which goes onsale tomorrow, her modesty only just covered with her arms as she rises out of a turquoise pool on the cover. And it seems she may wear even less in an inside spread, with the 25-year-old saying: "A lot of people have seen my boobs, let's just say that." While Frost told the mag she was hoping her brothers would avoid newsagents while the issue was on sale, she said she agreed to do the shoot as it was "classier" than other men's magazines. The racy shoot comes days after Frost announced she would be auctioning off the engagement ring Bachelor Blake Garvey gave her on the show. She said she would use the proceeds, which have been estimated at $18,000-$20,000 to pay off her credit card and would donate the rest to charity |

There's money to be made, especially where kids are involved QUOTE THE internet truly is the great equaliser. As long as one has access, the online world provides an undiscriminating platform for anyone to share their inner most thoughts, political slant or dancing cat videos. Everything is accepted after all, its how Justin Beiber got famous.
In the information age, content is king and sites like YouTube allow people to share everything from the sublime to the mundane, and some surprising creators are turning that content into serious cash. YouTube allows people to monetise their channel by putting advertisements in front of their videos. Google takes solid 45 per cent of the ad generated revenue, leaving the rest to the creator of the video depending on the engagement with the ad, 1,000 views can earn you somewhere between $1 to $5. With such an even split it can be very difficult to make any genuine money from YouTube but one mysterious woman has made nearly $6 million last year (US $4.9 million) from YouTube ads alone. What titillating footage did she produce to captivate such a huge audience you ask? She opened Disney toys.Yep. While some of the top earning YouTube accounts include the established entertainment powers of EMI Music and the WWE, this mysterious woman has beaten them all out. The channel, DisneyCollector BR, consists of hundreds of videos of a pair of nail-polished hands unboxing everything from My Little Pony figurines to Disney-themed Play-Doh. Each video last around five minutes and never strays from the product as a cute little voice guides the viewer through the delicate unveiling of each toy and the ensuing demonstration of its features. The account has 3,487,218 subscribers, with her top video, Play Doh Sparkle Princess, notching a staggering 178,415,686 views and contributing to the mind-boggling total of 4,767,605,816 views across the channel (certainly more by the time youve finished reading this). With the tech-savviness of toddlers these days, it stands to reason that a bulk of the channels viewership is young children that love watching the same videos over and over again. A brief scroll through some of the poorly spelt comments consisting of frequent admissions of love seems to support this notion. It may seem perplexing but the trend of unboxing products on YouTube is one that has steadily grown in popularity with YouTube seeing a 57 per cent increase in unboxing videos from 2013 to 2014. DisneyCollectBR is just the first person to target the youngest demographic with such success. While the womans identity remains a mystery, the New York Times traced the videos back to a 21-year-old woman in New York while Buzzfeeds best guess is a 43-year-old Brazilian woman who lives near DisneyWorld in Florida Whoever she may be, the one thing that is abundantly clear is: shes a genius. And a wealthy one at that. |

QUOTE Aggressive Fitment Needs To Die Almost daily I see people blame stance (99% of the time they actually mean aggressive fitment, but thats another discussion for another day) for the downfall of the automotive community as a whole. Proclamations are made that once the fitment fad dies off everything will miraculously change for the better. Really? Were using aggressive fitment as the scapegoat for all the problems that exist among enthusiasts today, while completely ignoring the fact that less than functional wheel, tire, and suspension setups are nothing new? If you jump back forty plus years conveniently hopping over the ricer era that is its own can of worms and examine the 70s Street Machine movement you will observe that people have been choosing their wheel and tire set-ups based on looks for years. It just so happens that currently a significant portion of the community views pebble pushing ride height, low offset wheels, stretched tires, and ample camber as pleasing to the eye. No. Aggressive fitment, nor whatever styling trend comes hereafter, is not the problem. But those flat billed hat, skinny jean wearing, kids have single handedly lowered the bar at car shows you argue? Well, no again. A few years back a car thats modification list started and ended with suspension and wheels wouldnt make the cut for a show, and rightfully so wheels and lowering does not a show car make, however these cars are not driving into shows behind the organizers turned backs, they are being welcomed with open arms. Why? Because event organizers have a lot of pressure on their shoulders; sponsors need to be pleased, venues need to be filled, merchandise needs to be sold, and models need vehicles on which to leave spray tan impressions. From the perspective of a show runner it only makes logical (or financial whichever best represents your show of choice) sense to usher in as many people as possible by heavily leaning on whats hot now, regardless of if it represents the best of the best from a practical, engineering, or build quality stand point. But the flaws in the current car show model (touched on here by Shift Hype) are not really detrimental to the community as a whole because car shows are arguably a very small piece of the pie. In my observation, the largest problems in the community today center around attitudes and egos. The biggest and most concerning of these issues is that the voice of the car enthusiast is being drowned out by that of the scene enthusiast. Unlike car enthusiasts, scene enthusiasts dont appreciate the hobby as a whole, they like their segment of car modification and wholly reject the ideas, and opinions of people they feel dont get it. These individuals dont appreciate someones right to build whatever they want and worse still lack the ability to respect any aspect of a build that sits outside of their own personal preference. People have become so head down and focused on what they like, and so opposed to what they dont, that they fail to realize they wear the same brand of blinders as those of the opposite opinion. The second, and perhaps equally troubling problem within the community today has to do with egos. The double-edged sword that is social media has grossly inflated the egos of those doing nothing more than lather, rinse, repeating what the person before them did. The loud, boisterous, vein, obnoxious, and attention seeking are being heralded while the humble, talented, creative, true innovators are being almost completely ignored. If you try to challenge or question those who have been lifted upon pedestals made up of likes, comments, and shares their bands of merry men, hiding behind shields emblazoned with the word hater, verbally strike you down. We are caught in a vicious cycle where as one trend gives way to another a new group of close minded, ego-centric, people replaces the last. As this circle continues nobody truly benefits and the hobby suffers as a whole. If its necessary for wheel widths to go back to 6.5 and offset to flirt with +60 for this downward spiral to stop then by all means aggressive fitment needs to die. http://www.stanceiseverything.com/2015/01/...t-needs-to-die/ |

click the link for the pics. QUOTE INSTAGRAM TRIES TO BAN FEMALE PUBIC HAIR
Instagram has issued an apology to an Australian fashion agency after it deleted an image posted by the site showing models' pubic hair. Fashion website Sticks and Stones (NSFW) had its Instagram account suspended when it shared a photo on January 1 showing two models wearing high-cut swimwear, revealing glimpses of their untrimmed pubic hair. The image was deleted and the account terminated on the grounds that it violated Instagrams terms and conditions, which state that users may not post nude, partially nude, () pornographic or sexually suggestive photos. Three weeks later the Sticks and Stones account was reactivated, thanks to major media outlets including the Huffington Post picking up the story. Instagram issued an apology, acknowledging that it had "made a mistake". We try hard to find a good balance between allowing people to express themselves creatively and having policies in place to maintain a comfortable experience for our global and culturally diverse community," read the statement. Sticks and Stones director Ainsley Hutchence accused the social media network of double standards, telling media that the image would never have been deleted if it showed male pubic hair. "Unfortunately Instagram has ruled out natural hair that appears on all bodies of women that don't trim their bikini lines. This hair occasionally does spill out of the sides of swimwear as it does on men in their underwear. But Instagram seem to be ok with man pubes," Hutchence told the website Mic. "Clearly this is absolutely sexist. Instagram believes that women should wax or get off their platform." This is not the first time Instagram has been accused of heavy-handedness in its policing of the 70 million photos shared each day on the platform. Nipples are notoriously not permitted on the network, leading a number of high-profile users including Cara Delevingne and Scout Willis to agitate for a relaxing of the rules around nudity under the hashtag #FreeTheNipple. In June 2014, a London mother was shocked to discover her Instagram account had been shutdown after she posted a photo of her toddler lifting her dress to show her tummy, while in July an overweight teenager in the US had her account deleted after she shared a selfie showing her in her underwear. |

couldn't have happened to a nicer person. QUOTE Stabbed Gold Coast man was 'child rapist'
A man who was stabbed to death on the Gold Coast on Tuesday was a child sex offender who had spent time in prison for the rape of a five-year-old boy, which he videotaped. The reports that Corey Croft, who was previously known as Corey Krawtschenko, and his partner Renee Carter were allegedly stabbed to death by Ms Carter's ex-husband on Tuesday. Police said they were aware of Croft's previous convictions, and had ruled them out as a motive for his murder. Croft was convicted of the rape of a five-year-old boy in South Australia in 1995, after he videotaped himself having sex with the boy. The boy's mother found the tape and notified police. Croft moved to Queensland in 2007 and changed his name, but was convicted of child pornography charges that same year, and served four months of a 16 month prison sentence. Hetty Johnston, founder of Bravehearts, a child protection group, told the newspaper that people convicted of sex offences should not be able to change their names. "There should be absolutely no opportunity for any registered sex offender to be able to change their name," she said. "We want people to be accountable for their pasts so we can protect the next generation of children. "We as a nation should have got this right by now, we need to stop it. "Most sex offenders get away with it, so the trick is to make sure your children are educated about it." |

http://geektyrant.com/news/15-fun-facts-ab...n-the-barbarian QUOTE 15 Fun Facts About CONAN THE BARBARIAN Arnold Schwarzeneggers Conan the Barbarian is one of those rare 1980s movie gems that just kicked a ridiculous amount of ass. Fantasy films weren't as popular back then as they are now, and the fact that they went all-out for a violent R-rated action film is awesome. If they made that movie today, the studio would want it to be cut down to a PG-13 rating, which is kind of sad. I freakin love this movie, and one day hopefully we get that Legend of Conan sequel. The last thing I heard was that it would start shooting this year, and I hope thats still the plan! While we wait for an update, I've put together a list of 15 Fun Facts for Conan the Barbarian that you might not know. Enjoy! Schwarzenegger had to cut down on his workout routine because his arm and chest muscles were so big that he couldn't wield a sword properly. In preparation for the role, Schwarzenegger had weapons training, martial arts training, and horse riding lessons. He trained with an 11-pound broadsword two hours a day for three months. Each broadsword used in the movie cost $10,000 and had to look weathered. He also learned climbing techniques, and how to fall and roll and jump from at least 15 feet in the air. Schwarzenegger and Sandahl Bergman did their own stunts in the film, as they couldnt find suitable body doubles for them. The runes on Conan's father's sword are translated as; "Suffer no guilt, ye who wield this in the name of Crom." Conan's response to the Mongol General's question, "What is best in life?" are the very first lines of dialog he speaks in the film after a full twenty minutes into the movie. His reply to the question was, Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women. Then even though Conan and Valeria are shown together frequently throughout the film, he only says five words to her in the entire film. Thirty seconds after they meet he says "You're not a guard", and "No". Oliver Stone wrote the initial script for the film. He set the story in the future after the downfall of civilization, and it was going to be a four hour saga that included bunch of creatures. It would have cost the studio 70 million dollars to make, so they didn't move forward with his vision. John Milius came on board to direct and ended up rewriting much of Stone's script. The future setting was thankfully abandoned and the original timeline was restored. Schwarzenegger suffered a back injury while filming when the dogs who were chasing him jumped him from behind and he fell down the rock he was climbing to escape them. Apparently the dogs used in the movie were very dangerous. Milius said, "When you had the dogs chasing Arnold Schwarzenegger and he's running, he's actually running for his life because he knew those dogs were very dangerous and they even attacked their trainer." A few scenes in the film were dedicated to legendary artist Frank Frazetta and based on his artwork. Those scenes include the orgy chamber, Thulsa Doom turning into a snake, a girl chained to a pillar, and the climactic fight scene. According to the original script, the tomb where Conan gets his sword was from the lost city of Atlantis. Sandahl Bergman says she had the tip of one finger cut off while shooting a swordfight for the picture. Some of the stuntmen took too long to die and had to be paid extra just to lie down and stay down. Milius originally wanted Arnold Schwarzenegger to be the narrator of the story. But executives at Universal had problems with that because of his accent. So instead, Mako was the narrator. Charles Bronson, Sylvester Stallone, and William Smith were considered for the lead role. At one point Conan had to throw a torch into the palace's central window/balcony. Schwarzenegger missed on the first attempt, but they weren't able to do a retake as the set burned to the ground. Schwarzenegger said that during the crucifixion scene, they used a live vulture to peck at his wounds. Then for the close up they used a real dead vulture they found for him to actually bite into its throat. After they cut, they immediately had Arnold rinse his mouth out to avoid disease. here's the original trailer. haven't trailers presentation come a long way......... |
