Hi guys I am currently working on a GA70 AEROTOP build and have been thinking of doing an engine swap currently running a stock 1GGTE with the a340 box but looking at switching to w58 can I get some input plz on what to run? Car is for street but want a bit of oomph out of it has 166k on clock and is smooth

1jz will fit in there just nice.. with a W154 gearbox at the least.

You mean an R154 right eXo? The w58 isn't a bad box, I was running one behind my 1j putting out 275rwkw and it didn't miss a beat

haha you just combined the two gearboxes that 95% of people use behind a 1jz. Also I am pretty sure a w58 is fine behind a mildly modded one, as has been proven numerous times.

You will need to go the whole hog and swap the loom as well. The 1JZGTE loom will be worlds away from the 1GGTE. They are completely different engines.
