My journey begins in December 2010 when I made the decision to purchase a 2009 Celestial Blue Gen2 Mazda3 MPS. The logic (at the time) was to buy a car that had every modern luxury and convenience available within my budget and was to include the performance I have always enjoyed! After a lot of research and test piloting of different brands I simply couldn’t go past this little rocket! The theory was simple – I now have everything I need as a daily driver and with the power it had as standard there was no NEED to do anything. That’s of course, before I found OZMPSCLUB a few months after my purchase, which happened to be patronised by a bunch of enthusiastic, knowledgeable & really friendly dudes and chicks who loved to get more out of their own Rockets!

ENTER THE MOD BUG – at this time I had to re-access and again my head must rule my heart, so I made a sub-conscious decision there and then that once I reached 200fwkw that was it! Now I know there is a whole lot more power I can get out of this little machine but I need to continually remind myself that it is a daily driver and at 200kw this is now a fairly powerful hatch but will still also be a comfortable ride! So I am now there, THIS IS IT!

During my modding journey I have made some good and bad decisions but in the end I’m happy with what I have finally put together…
