Also, can you believe this think I saw today?
I hate to say it, but Bimmer are doing some very interesting stuff these days...never really been much of a fan, but they seem to have grown a sense of character.
I can't believe this thng isn't a concept....it's an actual car, that will be on sale this year.
Never seen something that looks so much like a concept.

I'm not sure where you are living ( in what state) however QLD is the motorsport capital of Australia .. we have more venues and events than NSW and VIC combined ? What exactly are you planning on building ?

Well, Qld Raceway is shit. Lakeside was once owned and operated by Jesus, and... well.... I wouldn't class Archy as a track. Gold Coast doesn't count because it isn't a permanently set track.

I see.. Have you even raced at QLD raceway ? On paper sure it looks like a boring track, but you jump into a car taking corner 1 at 200kph you will have a new definition of boring. Lakeside your on the edge of your seat the entire track. Morgan park.. another great track

I do live in Brisbane dude lol... First time out at QR was back in 2004 to help run Driftzone(for the next 3 & 1/2 years). I don't think I have been to Morgan Park though. Would be nice to see what it is like.

Well, it's 98% app and 2% website. Site would be for more support based things etc.

There are things that the others lack and what people( I have surveyed only few at the moment) want. There is still heaps to add to things that others just have missed. But the good thing is, they are like trial and error for anyone else who is trying to get into the game.

Yes, at the moment, all I have is bubkis(what the fcuk?)

Draven, I hate anything but here and Facebook. One form of contact for the people that I socialise with is enough, I don't need 5 of them. Unlike the younger demographic (14-25 year olds).

^^^^ I sort of agree with drav, you need to work on your presentation if you're looking to attract investors, especially since at this stage you don't have a proven track record of returns for said investment.


wolfie may be able to give you some leads towards who to approach to present a spiel, but other than that, good luck with it.

you're also going to need something in writing, about returns, the split in % of who gets what etc etc.

All I mainly need is someone who is already in the field of the business/financial side of things as I admittedly lack the knowledge and experience. fcuk, I've missed out on expanding myself for the last 3 years thanks to this bullshit injury. But now that I'm feeling much more confident, i'm hoping to progress up the ladder successfully and come out on top. I know it's going to be hard, but if I don't do it, the next Joe Blogg will.

That's the thing. Since i've been out of the game for a while, I have lost track of the logistics and finances of things. I just want to get back at it. The last place of employment, I had the opportunity to offer savings to the business and make them more as well. I enjoyed doing that, until they couldn't give a shit haha.

I wasn't just asking for someone with money to aimlessly throw money left right and centre towards anything and everything. Moreso an interest/opinion based conversations to begin with. Pretty f'king obvious that people don't just give money over a piece of paper.
