this will be my 3rd service since new.. Rex has only done 10,600k Same deal with the wife's car Doc,she got it the same day you bought yours, and it hasn't cracked the 10,000 Klm mark yet.Letters from Holden,Australia, plus the local dealer,so I called in to see them to explain that it had done less than 4,000 Klms since the last service, and that when I took her old car to the Peugeot dealers for its 12 month service, was told it hadn't done enough kilometers to warrant an oil change.Holden insisted on the grounds of warranty, and safety,so I had it done, and then received the 'if you've had this service done, please ignore this' from both mobs again. |

The story with the pursuit was,I had been listening to it on the scanner,(I have one in the computer room, watering hole, and two of my vehicles) the first chase started near Murwillumbah, where he failed to stop at a RBT site,a Highway car took off after him,and in the ensuing melee,a vehicle, with a family on board was side swiped,so due to this, and the fact that communications were poor,it was ordered to be terminated. He resurfaced, near Ballina, and it started again, wrong side of the road, undertaking, and the cop said,he was doing 160Kph,and not making any ground on him,so the order was given from the big boss in Sydney,to terminate again, and not engage the vehicle, under any circumstances, due to his manner of driving. They had the plates of the car (QLD |

I got called into work this morning so rescheduled for next week, does seem pretty pointless having to get it done with so few ks since the last one, I'm the same, done approx 3.5k since the last one. But ah well ill just follow the logbook and do it every 6months. |

I hope for your sake they didn't notice you. Maybe the cops had to get an authorisation and plan in place in case the guys were armed, who knows, seems odd after such a dramatic chase, no doubt the guy had some dodgy shit onboard to go to those lengths to get away No it looks like they were covering every escape route,as they had express orders not to pursue.Apparently (Facebook source),a marked, and unmarked car came up behind him,he took off,and they were waiting around the corner for him with spikes. That took out his two front tyres,so he didn't get too far after that. They were dropping 'evidence' off at the house in question, that the Police went back and retrieved QUOTE The highway police and under cover police car came rushing down cooling st in lismore height lights and sirens Road spikes were successfully deployed in Donnans Road to stop this vehicle. It appears a number of police vehicles were involved in an operation to stop this vehicle. It was a very quick result without adverse incident. Police have received a report that some property relating to this incident has been left in Cooling Street. Police are returning to that location to collect the property. I got called into work this morning so rescheduled for next week, does seem pretty pointless having to get it done with so few ks since the last one, I'm the same, done approx 3.5k since the last one. But ah well ill just follow the logbook and do it every 6months. I told the local Holden dealer, that I would only be getting the car serviced every twelve months, unless it starts doing more kilometers, and they seemed happy enough with that, but it was funny that the Peugeot dealer (who love taking your money),when I booked her old car in for its service, said not enough K's,come back later |

why am I not surprised, 2nd time he's declared bankrupt, second time his (younger) wife's left him. QUOTE Brynne Edelsten is reportedly calling off her four-year marriage to Geoffrey Edelsten, the controversial businessman 40 years her senior.
The 30-year-old socialite, star of the reality TV show My Bedazzled Life, has blamed "too many dramas and a whole host of issues" on the break-up, reports New Idea. Those dramas stem from an affair that Edelsten reportedly had in 2012 with a woman he met on sugardaddy.com, which "left Brynne feeling publicly humiliated". A source told New Idea that the couple is "devastated" about the split and has "tried everything to make it work, including counselling". Brynne's publicist John Scott confirmed to Fairfax Media that the couple separated six weeks ago, saying she is "keen to stay in Melbourne [because] she has built a life here and she doesn't really want to go back to America". Edelsten, believed to be worth $100 million just three years ago, filed for bankruptcy in the US on the weekend and was recently forced to borrow money from his 90-year-old mother. |

That's what I like, no pressure to get things done straight away when it's not necessary. |

why am I not surprised, 2nd time he's declared bankrupt, second time his (younger) wife's left him. Looks like he won't be lonely, though,he'll have Big Bubba to keep him company QUOTE Disgraced former doctor Geoffrey Edelsten risks being charged with an offence that carries a maximum 30-year jail term if he does not settle a multimillion-dollar dispute with his former US business partners. http://www.theage.com.au/national/geoffrey...0104-30awp.html Your Peugeot dealer sounds like my mechanic at cnj motorsport, When I went in for a service in the 00 he mentioned ide be needing new front rotors and pads at some stage, said we'll check it at the next service, next service, still ok well check again next time, next service we swapped them out.
