they had shit loads of them, i asked if i could buy one from them.
they said they werent allowed to sell them.. somehow it ended up
in a gift bag with all my presents

I was pretty bad at taking them when on the piss, I think AHA was the brand of choice for the 285's then the Pint glasses when the irish pub fad kicked in, then I guess every promo glass from the girls at the bottle shop.

At Great Keppel we had a tradition of using up all of the BBQ and beers profits buying $2 Sambucca shots at the Wreck bar, stuffing the glasses in our socks and smuggling them out, we started lining the picture rail and top shelves of the backpackers with them, like a trophy room, lol. Our game was tumbled when we had the manager of the resort down for a BBQ and he looked up and just cracked up laughing, It had been puzzling him for months, where the glasses went, as he was having to order more in all the time, nowdays you would have to win lotto do down a 40 pounder of Sambucca in shots at a bar.

Last time I saw it,despite a bit of shit being thrown at him,he singled out my "not happy Jan" post,and things were starting to liven up a bit from there.Was waiting for Fearless and the like,to jump on board
