Heya all, this is my much beloved Evo X MR. As this is also my daily driver, the car has only been mildly modified.

Being an Evolution X MR, the was factory fitted with the following goodies:

  • Rockford Fosgate premium audio with 9 speakers (includes 4 tweeters and subwoofer)
  • Mitsubishi Multi Communication System with touch screen display and inbuilt Satellite Navigation
  • system
  • Recaro carbon fibre heated leather sports bucket seats
  • High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps with Headlamp washers
  • Privacy glass
  • TC-SST 6 speed twin clutch gearbox with paddle shifters
  • Bilstein shock absorbers with Eibach Springs


The following items were also factory fitted when the car was purchased new:
  • Red instrument panel and floor illumination system
  • Aluminium TC-SST foot rest and pedals
  • RalliArt twin rear bumper protectors
  • Red illuminated Evolution front strut tower bars
  • Aluminium scuff plates on all four doors
  • Genuine Lancer Evolution floor mats


Last but not least, this Evolution has been mildly and tastefully modified with the following goodies to set it apart from the competition:
  • TMR 270kW retune by Road Track Rally making 445NM of torque and 300HP at all four wheels.
  • K&N oil filter and panel filter in factory air box
  • Braided break lines all around
  • Rays engineering CE-28 18" semi-gloss black wheels wrapped in a new set of Yokohama ADVAN Sport V103 255/35ZR18 tyres. The original BBS Centre Caps have been left on to match the black/white theme.
  • HKS 3.5” twin tipped full turbo-back exhaust system
  • Grimspeed 3 port Boost Solenoid.
  • TMR progressive springs. RalliArt type carbon fibre side fenders.
  • RalliArt type carbon fibre side skirts.
  • RalliArt type carbon fibre rear diffuser.
  • RalliArt type carbon fibre fog light delete kit.
  • RalliArt type blood red retractable racing tow hook.
  • Unique red MR badges all around.
  • Custom RalliArt style clear taillights.
  • Custom-built front fender to protect against bumps and scuffs.

    Soo much win man!! Great job! I'm looking at getting one of these 08 mr with the sst. What's the service on the trans box like for one of these?

    And yeah they are a really good car, a lot more "daily-drivable" than the old Evos.
    With regards to the servicing, it all comes down to how you drive them really.
    Servising costs are not too bad as long as you you do the regular servicing.
