most of the stuff it is better to do yourself than get others to do it, lot more satisfying because it's how YOU want it to be, and you dont mind the extra effort for that result.

which is probably why i havent found an apprentice yet...

and I got to spend a few hours trying to figure out how in hell I was going to make the pipe up, square on one side, triangle on the other. I'd have like to use a flexible ag pipe of some description but couldn't see it working.

then I thought - use cardboard - didn't want that though, I wanted a thin plastic that'd hold its shape, couldn't figure out where to buy something like that of the shelf, then hey bingo, inspiration struck, milk bottles. mamoru.gif

kinda like me when i was installing the illumination kit in my footwells. prick of a job trying
to snake the wiring though without it getting caught on other wires and there is not much room for hands.

it's those muscly hands of yours, no doubt from squeezing all the p30 energy drink bottles. mamoru.gif

seriously, I wouldn't waste your money, there's sfa difference. that's just my thoughts though.

To be fair 2.9k with rubber sounds pretty damn reasonable for those wheels and factoring in the amount of dollars he is looking to spend its a drop in the ocean. The new ones will like slightly better but not noticeable to the normal person which seems to be the type of modifications he is into.

There's a REALLY big difference, actually. The new ones are all angular rather than curvy, and thick and chunky rather than thin and spidery.

I think maybe this picture shows it better?

The Prime Minister is now getting 7 bomb proof armored BMW's instead of it's current Holden Caprice due to the fact that Holden couldn't sort out their contract and meet requirements for a terrorist proof car.

QUOTE
Bomb-proof BMWs are expected to replace the prime minister's fleet of high-security Holden limousines after the local carmaker failed in a multi-million dollar bid to replace the armour-plated cars.

Holden didn't submit a bid for the new build contract to replace the ageing fleet of nine armour-plated Caprices, including the PM's own car "C1", the Daily Telegraph reported this morning.

It reports that only four bids were entered, including by overseas car makers Audi and Mercedes-Benz.

The only car proposed with local input was reportedly an $800,000 British Aerospace version of the Holden Caprice, or a car based on a Holden chassis, costing $1.2 million per vehicle.

Holden said it had partnered with the two after market companies in bids to supply armoured plated cars.

"Holden is involved in two bids for this work and we would love to see the PM in a Caprice, and we have obviously provided caprice for this purpose before."

The Daily Telegraph reports neither of those options met international anti-terrorist standards.

The federal government is said now to be planning to sign a contract to buy BMW High Security 7-series vehicles, at a cost of $525,000 each.

The government already has a contract with BMW for high-security cars through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Nah still haven't sold me on styling, I prefer the thin sportier styling, not the camry look, but for the money as a set of track bashers, go for it

Ok, fair enough, always good to have input. On my car it would actually be very noticeable as my current ones are black.

I think that dude lives down there on Gowan Rd, Offwhite house with a massive shed on the side. He's got a few old school classics too chilling there. Impala like a minty green colour

A mate of mine, his brother hired it out as a formal ride. What a way to rock up. Attention to detail really is immaculate.

I should pull my finger out and watch season 3 of game of thrones though.
