That will likely get me seat, rear hatch, brakes, led headlighs, front and rear diffuser, GT carbon winglets, wheels and various interior bits I want (Alcantara headliner etc)...

^^^ build an old school car instead, lots more bang for your buck doing that.

I'd still sell your other car though

Hmmm not really. I strongly doubt that you could build an old school car for 55k that would match it performance wise while still remaining a place I'd want to spend time. And even if you could, it would still not be what im after. Ie: a luxury sedan inside, a 9-11 killer on the track and a supercar on the outside. Very happy with what I chose... Just am looking to optimise what's already there.

I did however look at old cars (67 Impalas mostly) with an idea of getting one as a cruiser and still having enough to spend on the Audi... But they would just eat up too much of the budget.

Ok at first I thought fk me $55k then when I look and just the brake package is $20k, Seats, $12k or $9k for pov pack recaros, $20k for spoiler, diffuser kit, I can see how it adds up, way out of my hobby budget, lol

If you had the Ferrari F12 carbon valve stem caps would cost you $800 Lol.
As I discovered in the latest TG road trip episode.

Jeebus, that is total spank for maybe $10 in materials. My brother works with composites so I guess I see what is involved and when I look at the shit that comes out of china and other so called expert places I just don't see the value.
If you get to see the ram tubes and airbox on the new nissan V8 supercars, now that is artwork

LOL i saw that episode. Lucky bastards drove so many nice cars. I'd like to take part on the convertible rwd rally though, would be good fun !

I'd get my parts aqua-dipped in carbon. I was looking at a mates engine bay with the turbo housing and rocker cover + various other bits and pieces aqua dipped. Looked mint

get a woodgrain dip on my a/c compressor while im at it....on your soobie would be recognizable as it's right up the top doc, mamoru.gif

they would want to have a special key to remove them at that price.

doc, those p30 energy drinks, I saw them on special, 3 for $9. I think it was woolworths, not 100% sure though.

was last week now, so should be on special still tomorrow. sry I forgot to say something earlier, been busy working on my car of an evening, have most of the interior out atm, eliminating redundant wiring / air conditioner unit etc.

I'm trying to free up space under the dash to put in a remote brake booster. not sure that i'll be able to do so with the design of the heater fan / heater box placement.

I've only had one in the last two weeks. I'm only tending to have one if I've had a particularly intensive workout. still have two in the fridge atm. I should buy a couple more but meh.

so you're not like one of the dudes at my gym, brings his bucket of protein and places it under the stairs,
then measures out what he needs, and walks around the gym shaking his drink for around 20mins while
on his phone laugh.gif

i would imagine so. i have driven the clk55 amg and a ml55 amg and they are notorious for their torque. everytime i planted the throttle on either cars instantly the traction control kicked in. they cant get the power down like the sls black did in that video.

even the ml55 amg did and i was like ohmy.gif

i remember parking the car in a straight road in dads clk. traction control off and planted it from stand still....all the car did was just kick out...didnt move straight much
