Nice Gtr mate, sure its a 2011? i bought a 11' and the rear bar and rear spats are the same as the new ones with the carbon center at the bottom and vents on either side of the rear wheels, also unless a black model those seats are only 08-10 models with the red so looks like a 11' onwards front bars been used. Anyways love the Gtr's and nice colour. |

Does it matter? I could have a 458 and it would still smash it. It's an R35. It does one thing. Win. |

I totally agree with the comments above, when i bought mine i was tossing up between a new exile s or gallardo/r8/f430 used of course, as i agree the gtr isn't the greatest looking car especially those chasing a chick magnet car lol (as my wife likes the euro stuff) but i think its a badass car and has that presence/power about it when seeing one in person as photos don't do these cars any favours. |

Yeah, I thought about it. Could easily have bought a new one for what I paid for the R8, but at the end of the day I wanted more out of the car than raw numbers. There needs to be a balance between a lot of factors. If all I wanted was to win every time I went to the track, I'd have gotten one for sure. |

I don't know WTF from a bar of soap but he doesn't seem to strike me as he is arrogant about his cars or wealth? |

Quiet down and kiss my feet. But seriously, As I said in the other thread-I give props when I like something, and bag something when I don't. I think that's fairly natural. Check out the current RX-7 thread for an example of the former. If I seem to express a lot of negative opinions about cars...well, those who have been around long enough, try to recall all the flack I'VE received over the years for the cars that I but no one else liked. EDIT: I feel that a little more context/explanation is justified, as I do see how my comment may have come off as arrogant-it wasn't my intention. You'll notice that I actually never ONCE bagged the GTR. I think it's an awesome machine, and by far the best vehicle WTF has owned that I know of. The comment that people seem to have taken issue with was in direct response to people (somewhat facetiously) suggesting that I was jealous of it. I'm not, and explained my reasoning. The end. Look, at the end of the day, there are really only maybe 3 people left on Boost whose opinions I give a damn about. They seem to tolerate me, so I'm fine with that. Come over, talk to me at a meet (I'm at many) and THEN make a decision about whether or not you like me. Or if you can't be bothered doing that, ask one of the many Boost members who have. |

Props to WTF for building a nice car and 800hp is nothing to sneeze at. Most credit for the car should go to previous owner, a lot of the work was already done for me For the record, I don't mind if people dislike the car, or me for that matter I don't feel that my, or anyone else's opinion should be held in any higher regard just due to the car they drive. Having had the resources to purchase an expensive car does not give people the right to swing their ego around, and it is that attitude that unfortunately is synonymous with ownership of high end cars. I typically bite my tongue, but it's no secret that I dislike Wolfman's online attitude. His online persona comes across as extremely elitist, and seemingly looking to have the less fortunate kids stroke his ego. The majority of those that follow boostcruising are not at stages in their life where cars exceeding 6 figures in value are a likely possibility, and those that can may have no desire to spend that kind of money either. I don't feel that it is at all necessary to reference one's spending capacity (such as feeling the need to make sure boostcruising knew he paid cash for his R8). His posts constantly come across as if he feels his opinion should be highly regarded due to his resources obviously being higher than the average in this community of predominantly sub $30k vehicles. There are always bigger fish out there, and most of the guys I know have resources that FAR outweigh mine, yet none of them carry an attitude, that; Wolfman, is why you've not been invited on the private runs. Another pic, just to get back on topic. |

Um wow!!! relax guys its the intrawebs Seriously though, i didn't see Wolfman "bag" the GTR but yet some have said he did yes his opinions thoughts on other cars is questionable but really who gives a rats, Judging people by how they are on the net is a joke, how can you judge someone just by how they type etc, a lot of things can come across wrong via text I have butted heads with Wolfman on a number of occassions when it come to cars etc, i love my old school, he likes his top ends... but in the end its personal taste... DEAL WITH IT!!! |

Being honest, the GTR is an ugly brute of a car, I never really even liked the look of them. I got it for the power, and it was basically an impulse buy when this one popped up for sale in the colour scheme with the wheels I liked. Most day's commuting to work, I regret not getting the Gallardo, since the power is useless in traffic anyway, and, well, I am a poser |
