You may have noticed that there are now many more post replies displayed per page than what there was prior - this is because we've been able to save a lot of space by removing signatures from all posts (except for the post made by the topic starter).

I'm pretty much convinced that this not only makes it easier to read many more replies in a topic than going page to page to page to page, but it also helps the readability by being able to see posts one under the other without repetitive signatures.

Whilst I understand that many of you love having a "signature", the signature will be shown when you start a topic - so if you have some sort of promotional material in your signature (like your own website or facebook links) than you may wish to consider making more topics.

Don't know for sure, but usually if one person has a problem, there's a hundred others that are having troubles too and they just haven't reported it.

figured as much. usuallly when something gets updated here now and there is a bug
they usually all come running.

I agree with Wolfman When you take away the signatures and make the avatars look really small, us as members loose more of our personality. I could pick about 20 members just off their signature. People like pretty pictures and funny sayings.

Boost is now like reading a txt only porn magazine with the only pictures been adwords. I don't mind having to flip though a few more pages to see some tities below every erotic story/news article etc.

I am with these guys on the removal of sigs and avatars, i to pick people by them, is it possible to bring them back for the main site???

At the moment guy's I am very cautious of knee-jerk reactions and changing things back to "the way they were" when there is rather sound rationale behind every change made on the website.

Presently, there is a clear increase in posts per day/week throughout the site for the last few weeks, and I'm putting this down to the recent changes that have been made (lack of signatures and smaller avatars, amongst many other things).

Ultimately, increased usage on the site is of the utmost importance, but I'll keep an eye on things (as always) and will reserve judgement on this over the long term.

why no 'my assistant' anymore?.. i like looking at my last 10 posts so i can see i can remember what i have posted and see if there are responses. or am i blind and i can see this elsewhere?

I know you're a busy man,and I don't know if you have addressed,(or intend to) this problem,but the option to preview
your post is still not available.The button (the only one there now) has changed from post,to modify post but when you press it just puts your post on to the thread.
This is on the main site using a desk top.I'm probably coming across as a whinger,but to put up photos,post them only to find half of them
didn't post or you double posted a photo(yes I'm a bit anal) would be a real pain.So,if you could indicate whether it is 'a work in progress' or that's the way it's staying,it would be appreciated.Thanks Mcleod
EDIT;I think I see how it works now,but it's still a bit of a pain,trying to work out which image is giving you the dramas,especially for an old fart like me,
with limited computer skills,I much preferred the old preview post button

On the classifieds site when you click on contact seller nothing shows up... Can't email or get the sellers contact number

I understand, we'll try and return the button for normal forum posts, however it's not useful in the "gallery" areas like rides/events and that's why it was removed originally.

I've just noticed

1. It asks you to click upload post when you attach a picture, however there is no upload post button.
2. There is no "post" button when you create a post. It says modify instead

Just another might be stupid question. How do you revert back to the desktop site from the mobile site ? I spent a good 10 minutes trying to find it while browsing on an ipad

I keep getting subscribed to threads automatically. I have un-subscribed several times but it must just resubscribe when you make a new post or something?

found a few other issues i seem to be having on the mobile site Mc.

today i couldnt find the spam thread anywhere every time i opend Offtopic, as i usually do its the first thread there.
this is on Maxthon Browser which ive been using for months with no issues.
no Spam anywhere on the first page.


next i tried it on Next Browser and noticed

this one has a dropdown option,
tried that and hit "offtopic" and Spam is there.
whats the difference being in forum topic and offtopic.. they are both in OT..

other issue is everytime i hit "last" it takes me to the very first post.

and 1 more thing, every time i post i have to hit refresh first or it wont post. abit annoying
as sometimes i forget and i have to re-type it all again. never had this problem before..

I can't find spam thread either on mobile. stock s3 browser. seems for me the issue all stickied threads are missing.

Right, this is now sorted out (spam thread visibility), apologies!

The actual problem was that pinned topics weren't showing.

I'm not sure why some of you find you need to 'refresh' on replying to a topic for it to work... will dig further into that...

The "Last by" problem seems to be a problem with the hit area where you tap it and the normal view topic link it overriding it. Will get that sorted on Monday.

Mcleod,I don't know if KrisP,has had a chance to talk to you,Re a problem with placing photos on the site.With the new set up, it acknowledges the amount of photos you want to load(e.g. 4 pictures selected) but when you press Modify Post or Preview Post it puts up a loading bar and states 'When your photos have finished loading you will be taken to your post'.When you finally get to your post,there are multiple copies of the same image.I feel that the old system was much more user friendly

The search function in members rides has been broken for a long time. which was one of the things I actually really liked. It was the ability to search previous members rides via make and model etc. Now when you click on the search button on members rides you get this.

If you click on Rides up the top menu and click on search forum that's where I found the issue.
I was hoping to look for all the alfa's in the rides thread but it looks like the option is broken or no longer available cheers.

I also just noticed I tried to post up a youtube video in a thread, it looks like this function is broken as well. However when I went back in and modified the post it fixes it.
