1.6L stock with a few bits

JUNBL twin stainless

king springs front custom rears

diablo racers 18x8

Bought this when i was 17 with a few mods and then went nuts on it, with interior custom kit and bling.
And have kept it over the years, written it off completely in 2006 rebuilt and changed the exterior over 3 years,
since 2009 its sat in the shed, slowly put back together, driven on a few occasions, still drives like new.
Not sure why ive kept it, guess its cost me too much. It is for sale, or swaps, looking for around $8000firm

    fake front mount?
y post pics of it wirtten off?... no one want to buy a car that has been written off. specially see pics of it written off because u were being a dickhead on a dirt road?

Why lie about it? And the work carried out on the car was from one of the top hot rod builders in my area and I have pictures throughout the whole build to prove, also was never classed a write off.
Also I was 18 years old when I crashed the car, and I fell asleep from an overnight trip, pretty scary experience actually lessons learnt so maybe keep the dickhead comments to yourself

Yeah it's a fake front mount, I call it an interfooler, why? Read the number plate or to keen to criticise? FORLKS (FORLOOKS)
Remember I built this when I was 18 on ps with poor taste and power restrictions, so I was limited as to what work I could perform on it, why haven't I turboed now? Who wants a turbo front wheel drive its a p platers car. Correct?

I actually posted this topic not so much for the sale of the car but more to show what I went through with the car and how it's come along and the fact I stuck to it and repaired it and didn't just scrap it, I had little expierience with anything to do with repairs and modifications etc. I learnt a lot over the coarse of the rebuild, and I'm actually a little proud to show the car off, even if it is a little buzz box.

I've since moved on from that phase in my young life and have a couple of other rides that I throw my wallet at now.

So thanks for the positive comment mate shows that nothing's changed since the last time I posted on here about 6-7 years ago tongue.gif

What a piece of crap. I mean yeah appreciate the work gone into it but it's still a turd. It's like all the P plate mods rolled into one car.

Well why say it was written off completely then in your next post when questioned about it say it actually wasn't??? I would have left it "Written off"

It was well and truly written off, but not listed because it wasn't insured. I kinda sorta wrote that clear as day up there ^^^^^ but once again weve jumped the gun Anything else?

the most exspensive baleno on carsales is 5 grand.. yes it is stock but it has 100k on the clock and has never been written off.
most ppl know these days that cars dont make money so mods rarely have an effect on value unless its pricey engine work. (not sure if fake intercooler setups classify)

btw this is not the for sale section either.
    http://www.boostclassifieds.com.au/

imo u should strip the stez out of it and sell it for 3 or 4 grand.

Definitely better off posting on the classifieds section of the site, posting here in 'Rides' just invites open commentary.

Wow, I mean, when I said about the whole no life thing, I didn't actually think it was quite that bad for you guys smile.gif
I do feel for yas, and we even had the time to search for other balenos and even post links? Thanks guys like, I really never knew balenos were so worthless what an eye opener I feel so stoopid.
Paint and kit alone was more than the most expensive baleno for sale, I must be so dumb, to want to fix my first car that I
Nearly got killed in, fyi there is a highway just behind me, so no driftys, i have a lot of respect for my cars.
Has no one on here ever just wanted to finish what they started?
It may seem a waste of money to most but to me it was the satisfaction of the finished product, which is registered passed RWC
I'd do a full list on what's done to the car, but what's the point your only here to give people shit and get a kick out of it anyway so I won't waste my time, I realise that money poured into a project is never retrieved. But I think it's worth 8k, if no one thinks so then so be it, it can sit in the shed where it has for the last 4 years with the rest of the cars
There are panel shops out there that can put cars that have been in an accident back together and it's not the end of the world.

The intercooler was for a bit of a laugh as I had a spare sitting in the shed, glad it's still amuses

Well, seriously, you mentioned that you're trying to sell a car that was a write off, and then went on to continue explaining that it wasn't a recorded write off because it wasn't insured, all the while posting a 'poser' car in an area designed to show off genuinely nice cars.

You've exposed yourself to ridicule, I can't help you with that.

The classifieds section doesn't have public comments, it really would have been your better option rather than trying to misuse the 'Rides' section for unfair exposure.

I cant help but wonder if he advertised this else where if he would now mention and show pics of what originally happened to it???

    FORLKS
    Post #26

It's not advertised any where else, and yeah what's wrong utilising the free classifieds, and yes there would be a full run down on
The car, it's history, it's fake intercooler kicking in and loosing its fully hectic ness worse than my vtec kicks
Last time I was on here there was a number of posts in this section with "a mention" of it being for sale, apologies if that's not the case now.
I came on here to post up my rides as people do, I'm pretty stoked with how they have turned out and thought most people would see the same thing, but I guess you can't see the car so I guess one can assume what they please.
