Just not nice enough. The stock R8 wheel is flogged from a TT, believe it or not.

It is really quite an unappealing thing. The wheel I've bought is actually from the very limited edition V10 Plus Nice big metal paddles, contoured, badged, excellent.

Compare that stock R8 wheel to the one on my SLK. Just not good enough Audi!

$1 for a pretty good condition push reel mower. Blades were sharpened not that long ago, but they need resharpening and the running gear greased and cleaned.
Already did half my lawn and it's about the same speed as a powered mower (probably because I am not collecting the clippings).

Pretty significantly different. Perforated not smooth, moulded handholds not flat, "R8" logo instead of nothing and big, chunky metal padles instead of tiny, crap plastic ones.

I was a bit surprised at that too, fn accountants, the design guys would have cringed, you would have though the R8 given the flagship status, would have been given it own wheel and airbag design.

I must admit the donut, bumper car comment was not far off the mark for the airbag. Almost expect when you are driving to be pulled up at the lights and some rotten tooted carny, to pipe up "hands in the car at all times, wait till all cars are stopped before hopping out", lol.

The light dial is from a Mk5 VW, the dial cluster is from an A5 with a chrome trimming.

If you got the R-Tronic gear box, is from a first gen Gallardo, the seats are re-trimmed Golf R32 seats.
