Look, MJ, I think you are taking this way to seriously.
Our tastes are different. We will never see eye to eye on this. Yes, I think the 4-Series interior is just as characterless as ever. Yes, I think the SLK interior is more interesting than the Z4 interior (otherwise I wouldn't have posted a comparison). I get that BMW go for a subdued, businesslike look these days. They are good at it. That's just not what appeals to MY eyes, that's all. It appeals to yours, that's great. The steering wheel alone of the new SLK has more character to me than the entire Z4 cockpit.

You are aware that I am far from a Merc fan boy right? I evangelise for no particular brand. I have owned Mercs, Alfa, Bimmer, Chrysler, Toyota, and soon something new again most likely. Take a chill-pill, BMW ALSO made my FAVOURITE interior ever back in the day:

In recent years they have just gone a direction that doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.
They'll find their way back again at some point...and at that time, like most other "BMW people" you'll probably hate it.
Much like the Bangle years-I think those were the best looking cars that the company produced in the past two decades-but die-hard BMW fans hated how "overt" they were.

OT:
Full-sick ramen.

You can't just add colour to a boring interior and call it good, MJ80. I will give it to the M3 though having a better interior than the C63, that looks epically boring. If I am honest I'd rather be in my $4000 156 than that C63 based on the interior alone, not regarding that the Merc has more than 3 times the engine and pretty much everything else.

Here's some pictures of 15 year old car interiors.

GTV designed in 94

156 designed in 97

B5 A4, about '96

S14 200SX '94 .....no wonder so many people strip them out and drift them

Anti Spam

Helmet and elbow pads for ice hockey, doing up my kit the tight arse way, these cost $70 not bad

Two second hand hockey sticks for 20 bucks with a stick bag so I no longer have to worry about the $160 stick in the middle (why in fcuk did I spend that much, I don't know).

Anyone else find that German cars have too many f'king buttons?

Reminds me of an Alfa 164 with it's endless rows of monotonous buttons:

Quite often it's because they include a full phone keypad. I like that.

I posted the generation in accordance with the Gen m3 it is being compared too, we don't have the new m3 to compare to that update amg so it was any posted as a fair comparison. Even still boring I still rate the e92 over the update even though it's how many years behind?

Disagree. Once again, we clearly have different aesthetic tastes, so this will really get us nowhere. You think that BMWs have great interiors. I think they are bereft of character. I think Audi and Merc have a bit of personality inside, you don't. We are not going to see eye to eye on this.
Are you always this fiercely defensive of Bimmers? Man, I can't imagine being that tied to a particular brand.

Obviously, why is it so hard for you to comprehend that somone can have different taste to you ? all im doing is voicing it, the same as you are.

The only reason i posted that reply was to correct your inaccurate comparison by posting a new gen interior in a comparison against a E92 from 2006, compare them equally, hence the image i posted of the "old gen" its the same generation as the E92 at least, if your going to compare using that image then use the inside of the new M3 when its out. No wut i meen ?

The size of that plate is rather comical

Bought the Bauer skates on the right as I found my old ones (on the left) are too wide. Also found out my left foot is nearly one size bigger than my right. GG feet for being so uniform and symmetrical

Surprisingly common, my right is a full size smaller than my left...

Apparently it is more uncommon to have two feet exactly the same. When I bought my Brooks the lady at the athletes foot spun out as mine were the same in width and the same in length.

So did every "3" phone when they first came out... and they were poo I reckon and at the time I was using a Nokia 8310.

Isn't the idea of technology to get smaller? Not to carry a goddamn tablet in your pocket.

Anyone remember HipTops? If they weren't the ugliest fad of a shit phone I had ever seen...

I prefer bigger devices. It wasn't too much of an upgrade, Galaxy S 3 to a Galaxy Note 2. 4.8" to a 5.5" I prefer bigger devices.
