What? I was just expressing surprise at your casual statement of such a major purchase. |

Casual mention or no, buying my first house is the biggest move ill make for a good couple of decades. We've been looking and researching our area for months and finally found something we like. It took a lot of hard work to get to the position where we can buy, so we are very proud of that. |

She's not much to look at (yet), but she's our own little patch of suburbia and I'm proud. Good work, you always remember your first house, it is a great time to do the paint and reno to make it your own, Only tip I have is pour every spare cent you have into paying it off, set weekly high payments, just do everything to be a jewbag for the first few years. Other friends went down the new house and land path out in woop woop, they are still paying off a now old home in a dodgy suburb. Our first house started as the worst in the street and we fixed it up to get the best price in the street, once you have paid it off, the next one is easier, you can make the banks apply for your loan, no more fees or charges, better rates. |

How much did the new Mower set you back ?? The Kubota was $22,200 including GST (Approximately $7000 off)Toro dealers wanted $20,000 for their latest model, but as good as Toros are, there are a lot of changes I don't like with the new ones. They have dropped the drive wheels from 26 inch to 24,and there is a gearbox, that should have the oil changed every 50 hours, and you have to physically remove it to change the oil.The farm is 100 acres, and if my son is too busy to jump on the other mower,it takes me roughly four ten hours days (even at the speed they can travel at) to mow the whole farm .At this time of year (with the rain, and boosted by the fertiliser,we use for the trees),the grass grows at 25mm a day,so it's like painting the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and I would be constantly pulling that gearbox out.If rain stops play,(like it is at the moment) and the grass gets a head start on me,that extra 6HP is a welcome blessing |

That's a stupid price for a pen why don't you just give me the money and buy yourself a Bic. Because you'd just buy more red bull. |

Umm...are you forgetting my car history? Doesn't get much less boring than THAT. With pens/clothes/watches, etc I am not a fan of "loud" or ostentatious. I prefer classic, well-made quality, that will often not be recognised by average joe, but that an enthusiast will readily identify. No gold watches or over-designed pens here. CARS on the other hand...Jesus man, I've owned an Alfa, 2 smarts and a frikkin' SERA. My next car will almost certainly be a Lotus. My taste is many things...boring isn't one of them. OT: <snip> Both for the wife. I am not one to usually hang shit on other peoples choices, but trying to say any of those cars are exciting (or not boring) in any way is a joke right? |

You could hang many descriptions on my choices: gay, stupid, ugly...but boring just doesn't seem to fit for me. And FTR, I think the opposite of "boring" is "interesting", not "exciting". Nothing exciting about a Sera. Interesting though. ...but maybe you just have a different definition of "boring" than I do. I thought you were sold on an aston wolfman...i liked where that was going... May happen yet...depends on timing. Bought Metal Gear Rising for the PS3 Sweet game so far Jesus...I want it so bad. |

Cage successfully rattled But the thunder has somewhat been stolen by the guy who drove Honda after Honda after bloody boring Honda - none of which featuring red R's and the 'sporty one' featuring an automatic transmission - but I am sure wolfie would be OK with that selection, using all of your limbs to control a car is after all a poor mans game. Upon further inspection of the pen I'd probably rock it but have no ideas of what the competition is. Rich guys just sign shit to do with their money all day so they need a good pen, I'm not a rich guy so I just make do with Pilot or any number of promotional pens (Pilot is by far the best). Also FTR I don't get too ostentatious either except when I drive through the city in my car ensuring as much of the exhaust noise bounces around the buildings while keeping it away from the watchful eyes of those cnty speed cameras. I really hate gawdy watches. Gold, any type of diamond or zirconia wannabe, etc. Not really. As I've made clear previously ad nauseam, I've had manual, auto and sequential...all are fine. It depends on the character of the car. I also just stated that a car doesn't have to be "exciting" to be "interesting" (no red "R" needed)...and have actually already recommended the Accord Euro in this very thread. Also, you sound almost as bad as those dicks on Harleys that drive through the city and make you pause your conversation for like 30 seconds while they roll by. |

WHere is the fcuking dB test for them? size of the running motor shouldn't account for anything!! Also, Wolfman, what would it cost me to hire yourself and your flyable automobile to J-Land and back? OT: Milk. |
