One of the main reason android apps can be so shit is because there is soo many different devices for them to make it for, where as an app on the apple app store only has to work across 6 or so different devices.

The only benefit of the android app store is that if you download an app that you think is shit/doesnt work on your device you can get a refund if deleted within 20 minutes (used to be 24 hours).

Well all i know is that when i had Iphone 3GS, i hacked the fcuk out of that fcuker and had every app and possible feature that i could ever want and i loved it. Switched to android and lost interest pretty much instantly. android is just not fun. and its sloppy.

Yeah as i've said I get told constantly by both Apple and Android owners about games or apps i MUST install... It's like, why.. most of them seem utterly pointless, can see how some would be handy if you had frequent use for them (say wolfram alpha, internet banking etc.) But for the most part outside the preinstalled apps I don't bother with anything else.

I smashed my first iPhone yesterday actually. After having one for 4? Years now.
Landed face down in a maccas car park.
Nothing was going to save that.

Fair enough, I had a HTC Desire HD which was largely considered shit and never had any issues with mine, never missed a beat until Vodafone took over 3 and cut me off the 3g network. Got offered either a Note for free or a iPhone 4s for $8 extra a month, seemed an easy choice.

Haha that's unlucky. Only avice I can give about phones period is grab an otter box. $80 for a genuine one, 4-5? Storey high drop tested, water proof and shock proof. It is a bit chunky but well worth it I reckon.

Yeah have seen the otter. I usually have a battery case on it which does protect it pretty well.
Shit happens. I have spare screens anyway

If its fcuked just make your way to Bermuda and head all the way up to the turnoff for chevron island and instead turn left and just keep going till smith st.

I just use one of those silicone cases... Protects the screen just enough to stop direct contact and stops scuffs on the plastic etc.

Dropped my HTC from the top locker at work onto the tiled floor and not so much as a scratch, had my Note fall out of my pocket a few times getting out of my car so far and nothing.

ive got a rubber shell with a hard plastic shell and raised edges around the screen. protected and doesnt get wet if dropped on wet floor or whatever

Wouldn't that require a random busty blonde to come over and lick the phone after it's coated in maple in a suggestive manner?

Point is though if the iphone wasn't more expensive for less power, storage and battery life both times i've bought a new phone I might've considered it, also now iphones just feel way too small for my liking.

Personal preference I think.
I prefer a device to fit in my pocket and not be noticed.
Why anyone would need more than 64gb is beyond me

I was offered 8gb, nothing to do with 64gb either time... After the Desire HD which was bigger and now a Note I'm just used to a big phone now, tried setting up my old mans ipod touch and god it felt so damn small

Truth be told though i've never even used 1gb of my space...

I think you will find that the iPod touches are actually a lot smaller then the phones.

Fist time using chrome, so far so good. Pretty easy to navigate, seems to be a bit smoother also?. Usually when I type through safari my page glitches and misses letters etc. not a thing on this seems to keep up quite well.

Very impressed haha.
