My pos Holden Viva was involved in a serious traffic crash late yesterday arvo, definite write off due to mechanical front end damage. (I wasn't at fault) Therefore today/tonight was car hunting day.

The latest edition to the family: BA mk2 xr6t, 98k on the clock. Picked it up for 10k flat with rego til march. obamanotbad.jpg

Where'd you get those Monopro's from, and how much if you don't mind me asking. Everywhere I look seem to be still selling the 8/6kg HR's sad.gif

$999 plus about $35 delivery to brisbane, from http://www.otomoto.com.au/ Orderd tuesday (by phone) and arrived thursday in brisbane

I couldn't find anything under 8/6, and jumped straight on these when they came out a few weeks ago.

Only have the rears in at the moment, no driving yet.

About to throw the fronts in tomorrow before i do the cradle bushes Sunday, I'll let you know how they go.

Ahhh, thats their new dual tube, I see.

Their replacement for the HR (the monopro), despite being a monotube and advertised as a more serious coilover(with a more serious price tag squint.gif), also comes standard 5/7kg now for s-chassis, hence my confusion.

Slush Puppy machines are a f**king pain and expensive to run :/ Friend has one in his shop, the machine itself cost 800 bucks and the syrup you have to put into the water for the ice is about 80 bucks for a litre. It's a rip.

If that's anything other than a 4 speed auto you did really really well for that price, if it's a 4 speed, still not bad *nods head*

Not a fan of Armani Code I had a bottle bought for me I use it when I go out with that person, just so you know you're being polite, but normally I don't wear it. My skin chemistry and the cologne don't mix too well, it comes off smelling far too sweet.

Gucci Gucci have some nice fragrances, actually, I forgot to add that one to my list, I bought Gucci Gucci Guilty as well. Nice smell, somewhat musky and leathery but I like. I have enough fresh smelling stuff, wanting to break it up with a bit of musk, leather, woods etc.

Zen Shiseido, I have never heard of. Description of the fragrance?

EDIT: The way I see it, I may look like I've been smashed in the face with a brick, but with a persons sense of smell being the one that is most closely linked to the memory, I can leave an subconscious impression on a person, boosting my chances of call back/scoring digits. Lol.

Not quite the brilliant buy I thought, but still damn good... It's an early 04 build, so its a mk 1 not the mk 2 that I thought, it does have the 4sp auto, but I'd much rather than over the 5sp any day of the week, they are weak as glass.

Drives unbelievably well, no accident history, couple of little scratches here and there but you come to expect that from an 8 yr old car. Another point of note is that it has a heavy duty tow bar setup with a long trailer plug and Phoenix electronic breaking system.

The 4 speeds are good, they just don't help alot in the swiftly accelerating department, then again the 5 speed isn't a whole lot better. Still a good buy, not too long ago an NA would have set you back that much.

Word from the wise; don't buy a flash tuner from bpr preformance, they couldn't tune a radio.

Nothing wrong with the 4sp. Dads lasted with 460rwhp. Bumped up the line pressure and it was sweet.

Yah, the zf is an awesome box. Most people with big hp are going back to the built btr 4sp though. 6 gears is too many for the strip lol.
And as for the 5, it's junk haha.

Yeah, nova. Just something for the street. Although with these new rules and traffic heat, probably moreso the track..

I finished my Christmas shopping yesterday haha. I was doing good this year until recently! I ordered my mum a book on the 8th Dec and I only just received an email today saying it's been despatched, pretty sure that unless it's on a Concorde it won't arrive from the UK by tommorrow.
