The major plus with this is when you get sick of that, you just replace the bonnet and you have a clean stock reliable car. That is if you think you would like to put it back on some day.

When it isn't enough to simply pretend your CL500 is an AMG, pretend it's a Black Series!
Seriously, where did he even get the badge?

Also, being disabled doesn't mean you basically just park in the middle of the street.

Seriously though, I really wonder where he got the BS badge. I assume it must be a knock-off, as BS parts are notoriously hard to get. I know this because a number of the AMG SLK guys have tried to order the AMG emblem that goes on the SLK55 BS gear knob (ours have just a blank space), and basically you have to send a photo of you with the car!

Yep, those badges are knock-offs-guess there IS a market for them after all. Amazing!
As for that thread-those part numbers are for a different part-BS emblems don't have a part number. There is a pic of the BS shifter logo halfway down the first page, followed by a lengthy discussion about the fact that they can't be bought/can someone make a replica.

I long since got over the amusement of the abbreviation.
Also, I saw a satin grey Veloster the other day-satin paint must be getting cheap!

...or could have been a wrap I suppose.

One thing i continue to see EVERYWHERE and something i class as the dumbest trend in motoring is a poorly setup tow vehicle.

I spend a lot of time in rural WA observing grey nomads towing shitty vans in thier prados/100 series/pathfinder/even a camry once and nothing shits me more than watching people who were more than happy to spend 60k on a god damn caravan and all the retiree fruit to go with it but not the fcuking $500 for a set of heavier rated springs for the back.

Driving around with the rear bar of the $50 000 4wd theyve gone and put beaded seat covers and "What inheritance? We're spending it!" stickers on scraping on speed bumps, understeering across our great nation at 70kmh, one caravan park ablution block to the next.

If there is a god, he'll will our constabulary to start hassling these geriatric road hogs.

Do they not understand how dangerous it is? It is without a shadow of a doubt, 100%, my motoring pet hate

I am with Geoff. I do a fair bit of driving for work. Compare those cars dragging the back while towing as opposed to obviously illegal cars is a scary margin. Affects all sorts of things including braking. Should be heavy fines imposed for overloading.

Geoff
Post #1496

Wraith - they understeer like you wouldn't believe (or in this case, probably would).

Thats just what you want with 2t of car towing 3t of van!

Kind of in line with the thread, just watching latest Resident Evil and they murdered a nice Rolls Royce.
