Australia. So the ute on the back had the 2 bikes on it, snapped the timing belt an hour and a half from home. We then had to get a mate to come up with a trailer to tow us back. Thet trip was slow.

Spent around 3 and a half hours washing, waxing, vacuuming, and just generally cleaning the damn thing. Was long overdue...

Also fitted the cargo barrier, going away for a week on Saturday.

Finally got around to putting the HICAS lock bar in and capped off the lines. Now that I'm done messing around with suspension I can get a wheel alignment and start driving it again! Over the last couple of weeks I've been plugging away at it getting little bits done here and there. It's only been sitting on the road 6 months or so.. lol

Took the carby off and cleaned her out because it was running rough as guts. Forgot to put one of the lines back in and ended up leaking fuel everywhere. Wondered why it was leaking and running worse, dad took one look at smacked me up the side of my head tells me Im a dickhead and to double check the lines again. Woops. Good fun though learning stuff as I go.

Jacked it up, then let it back down, then walked away pissed off because of old people and their need to butt in every 5 f**king minutes.

Decided to do a carby teardown for the 4th time to try and figure out what was up with it since my car chewed through fuel and was spluttering at mid revs. looked at the jets, noticed they were in the wrong way head_wall.gif (1.9mm primary and .9mm secondary instead of .9 primary and 1.9 secondary) swapped them around put it back together and huzzah it runs properly all the way through the rev range and ive also more than doubled the economy of the car from 200klm/50L to the now much better 500klm/50L, not bad for a 3 speed auto 4 banger.
