Xmas special was the only reason I splurged. 15% off. When I do a turbo swap next year then I'll consider Revo/GIAC. Plus Harding Performance is close by so it was the simplest solution.

Nah I don't think diesels are at their peak yet. Maybe in a few years I'd consider one. Plus diesel A3's don't come in quattro, which was a deciding factor when I picked the car.

Revo/GIAC/Bluefin/APR are still all flash tunes essentially so going a custom turbo swap wouldn't probably be your best bet, unless you spent heaps of time with on road data logging. Check out BPS Tuning, a lot of VW guys are using them, one with a Golf R and a GTX 3071R making a healthy 260kw at all fours and now he's doing engine work looking at 300kw at all fours. Not bad for a 2L

Please explain to me how him buying Motul chain lube and foam filter oil (wheres the filter on your MTB?) equates to MTB? He rides a quad lol

Mostly the tyres but they can be good on a hot day to cool down....

They put about 4-5 psi in the tyres which is all I run anyway.

In the theme of Tuning software I just pulled the trigger on a Dreamscience Ultra tuning handset for the Focus. Will be good to see the turbo actually do something before 3rd gear.

Also gas strut bonnet lifters

not modded enough for that yet.....although most of the reason I went with DS was because it comes with a few tunes to suit all levels

Try and stick with performance+ or race if you've got it. Race+ and dsci tend to rape clutches. Newer Mod tunes are a bit gentler on the torque delivery.

And also - a quaife diff is the best mod you'll ever do biggrin.gif
