depends if you use it as a ute is meant to be used or if it is just for show

definayely styleside. tray back looks like you have slammed dads work ute into the weeds. s/side gives the vehicle a bit of class. I owned a lux once, cool truck but slow as shit. once you get the body sorted why not do a conversion? SR20- or even better 3SGTE.

How about do something different and go for a nice wooden tray? I reckon that would look pretty nice.

yea wooden looks alright but with a styleside u can drop it on its guts more, with the arches, unless u cut the arches outta the tray laugh.gif

get a styleside with one of those rubber or plastic tray gaurds so u can put ur work stuff in without putting dents and scratches in the back. i have also seen a kingy ute with a wooden trayback...looked quite neat

and for the exhuaust, make it stick up like a truck!

fuck the tray, shove a double bed on there or somethin cuz im sure the cab of a ute would be a hard place to have a d00sh, especially when its an emergency!

stylesyde it, notch it bag it then drag it.

if u get a new styleside tray, or 2nd hand make shure that its in good nick kauze my mates cuz just did his hilux up, and he got a 2nd hand tray for like 800 and he spent 500 more on repairing it when he could have got a beter tray. so dont worry bout spending that bit extra on the tray.

Are u bagging it ??

Seen a FUCKEN low ute getting around thats tray back but where the wheels would hit on the tray he's cut holes that the wheels fit through.

Hard to explain, looks kinda like this:

Uhm yeah, dunno how that'll look but oh well smile.gif

You should do that. It looks REALLY sexy having the wheels hanging through the tray. Makes it look REAL low.
