Hey guys, here's a couple of shots of my pop's Merc. Sorry about the plain-ness and no front shots, couldn't get any good shots haha. Fantastic car, so comfortable to sit in, sounds great to thumbsup.gif

    Pretty much just a hand brake, you use it on hills etc.

    3rd pedal is a handbrake and you pull a lever to release it, can't imagine initiating a slide with it though haha

    It is a handbrake, and you don't use it on a hill.
    Mercedes have used foot pedal handbrakes for years.
    Nissan also use the same system in the 34 Stagea.

    Your pop has good taste, when this car was brand new it fetched a decent price.

    If you use your handbrake in a automatic to hill start then please follow these 3 steps.

    1. Gather wood.

    2. light a fire with that wood.

    3. Place license in that fire.

    I wouldn't skid it, Mercedes parts & servicing is the most expensive part of owning one.
    Best thing I ever did was sell mine.
    BMW are alot more wallet friendly with parts & servicing.
