Started pulling apart the interior to find the electrical gremlin that has caused my brake lights to stop working, only 1/2 hour in i figure out my fusebox needs cleaning and the fuses werent contacting properly |

Finally got around to hooking up a battery feed for my stereo so it keeps time and settings intact now. Also finished hooking up new electric fan. |

Removed the stretched timing chain, tensioner, pulley sprockets, cam sprockets, dephaser etc etc. Replaced with all new stuff, set timing then started putting everything back together. |

Boss kit was a cheapo chinese one, It wouldnt flick the indicator back after you turn, So did a little mod to it now works like expensive bosskit. |

Not sure if the MR2 fuel tank design is accidentally genius, or deliberately that way. Due to it's dimensions, there's absolutely no need to do any sort of baffling or using some sort of fuel-foam to prevent starvation - the tank is about 1500x400x200 so any slopping will keep the pump submerged. Only real chance of starvation would be under heavy breaking, but the pickup is at a very good spot so it shouldn't occur unless the fuel level is SUPER low. |

made some brackets and fitted the pro-car seats into the firebird today, and cut out the delete plate on the scoops to have the ram air effect |

Almost went up the ass of another car today at 5.30am whilst still half asleep when I realised numerous baby wasps throughout my car after leaving all my windows slightly ajar during the day /night. Just about gave me a heart attack! that'll teach me not to do that again! So all in all basically fumigated my car and boot and gave it a thorough vacuum. Which reminds me, I still need to get the Olympic bar and plates out of the boot already. So sick of hearing them slam around on every corner I take |

Just about gave me a heart attack! that'll teach me not to do that again! So all in all basically fumigated my car and boot and gave it a thorough vacuum. Which reminds me, I still need to get the Olympic bar and plates out of the boot already. So sick of hearing them slam around on every corner I take Next update will be: Today I took it to a panel beater so they can get the dints out that the bar and plates did from slamming into my rear quarters. :0 OT: Looked at how it's sitting, Contemplated jacking it up and twisting the springs to fit properly so the car sits flat but decided I cbf. |
