Removed the stretched timing chain, tensioner, pulley sprockets, cam sprockets, dephaser etc etc. Replaced with all new stuff, set timing then started putting everything back together.
Also installed a new bonnet release cable to replace the broken one. And installed the new AEM boost and oil pressure gauges.

Now to just do finally assembly on a few bits and pieces and start her up!

Not sure if the MR2 fuel tank design is accidentally genius, or deliberately that way. Due to it's dimensions, there's absolutely no need to do any sort of baffling or using some sort of fuel-foam to prevent starvation - the tank is about 1500x400x200 so any slopping will keep the pump submerged. Only real chance of starvation would be under heavy breaking, but the pickup is at a very good spot so it shouldn't occur unless the fuel level is SUPER low.
Also removed another 20kg or so of sh!t I don't need - brackets, 10m of AC lines, etc.

Almost went up the ass of another car today at 5.30am whilst still half asleep when I realised numerous baby wasps throughout my car after leaving all my windows slightly ajar during the day /night. Just about gave me a heart attack! laugh.gif that'll teach me not to do that again! So all in all basically fumigated my car and boot and gave it a thorough vacuum. Which reminds me, I still need to get the Olympic bar and plates out of the boot already. So sick of hearing them slam around on every corner I take mamoru.gif

Next update will be:

Today I took it to a panel beater so they can get the dints out that the bar and plates did from slamming into my rear quarters. :0

OT: Looked at how it's sitting, Contemplated jacking it up and twisting the springs to fit properly so the car sits flat but decided I cbf.

Got trolled by Rays Engineering. I spent money on hub adapters and damaged the threads on one of them trying to fit the wheels up only to discover I could have probably fitted them without!

Oh well, ordered correct hub rings and will soon be putting wheels on car
