When I put my ride up today it would only allow me to select a year. I was unable to select make and model as we could previously. The drop down boxes were there but unusable. It appears that others may have the same issue also as most of the members rides that are currently up only have dates. Dave -------------------- |

Mcleod was there ever an answer as to why we couldn't have a member builds section ? I should elaborate, a section where the threads will actually bump and update to the top like a normal forum, that way people can actually document the progress of thier car and the thread will be seen again, right now they just fade off and are never seen again really. Cheers You've described the perceived problem differently in that the existing members rides area could work as a build section if the ordering of entries was based on last update time rather than original post date. That sounds like an easy change rather than having a separate forum area - I'm against creating a new category because I don't think it would be used very often. So I think I'll just change the default ordering of ride entries to last update and see if that achieves the desired result. |

Please let me know if you come across any other problems. Yeah thats basically what i ment, i put my car up years ago, its vastly different now but if i was to update the thread no one would ever see it, the change would be good so that those of us who are continually modifying can maintain an active progress thread. That change has also been made, you should be able to update your existing / previous entry and any update will take it to the top of the Rides section as per ordering of last update time. |

OK awesome however there are some bugs, when posting a reply it automatically pastes the template from the OP into the reply box. Also it wont let me the OP post a reply or an edit without unloading "at least one picture" to that post. Also when adding those photos to a reply via the photo up loader they photos do not appear. |

Can we have a switch button or something between latest post and OP post like how members rides was? I dont mind old threads turning up that are of interest, but for the most part im not interested and all i wanna do is scan what i havent seen yet, read it, comment and be done with it and know where i left off from last time. That goes out the window when the top of the list is made up of old threads,semi-old threads and a few new ones. As you have stated, you are not in favour of a separate builds section which is fair enough as its your site but Members rides on here IMO should just be pics/info up for critique and left to be archived in the shadows. Just my opinion. Cheers |
