Focal BUS25 under the passenger seat. Very, very impressed. Especially for what it is!

Also some canvas seat covers for the fronts.

Bought myself an 08 GLX triton 2 weeks ago and the first thing i did was fit up a UHF radio - a Uniden UHN7760NB remote head jobbie. Mounted the unit up under the dash hidden away.

Then came the 265/75R16 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 4 rib tyres on 16x8 sunnies (cruiser offset). Those motherfunkers were hanging out like wizard sleeves in a Valley alleyway at 2am.

Drove from the tyre shop in Osborne Park like that back to my house in Greenmount LOL. Via bunnings for some flares. Some might call it garden edging and well, they'd be 100% right but god damn the car looks good now:

Going for its first wheel tomorrow, up to Lancelin for the day and then an easy run through the Powerlines on Sunday.

i put different wheels and tyres on my mn singlecab 4wd, makes them look so much better. does the glxr also come with front lockers?

I've had a lot of people say that from photos, the difference is much more evident when the car is in front of you. Difference being the darker surround around the light, and the dark rings inside as opposed to chrome. I'm happy with them though smile.gif

A subtle, yet nice change.

Mines just a GLX.

The factory lockers were in the rear - its an option on the GLX's, mine doesnt have it.

I did something terribly exciting to my car today...

I topped up the washer bottle fluid!

The car's almost finished!

New engine is finally in, running nicely and ready for a tune. It's going to Hi Power racing for the tune and a general inspection with a fine tooth comb to ensure everything is in order. After that its to bosman wholesale tyres for all of the suspension to be setup and adjusted.

It's bee a long, stressful 2 years but the light at the end of the tunnel is near. I took it for a sneaky drive down the street today and it felt amazing.

Plates look the goods on it Doctor!

Dropped the engine oil and gave it new golden liquid, changed the filter, cleaned the interior, sprayed some degreaser. Contemplated washing it and emptying the catch can. Determined too lazy to do so, will do it tomorrow

Yep that one.

Today I installed my NSX tool kit from Japan (mint cond nothing missing showroom cond!) and my NSX spare / space saver inflatable tyre (also mint, like new never mounted / no pitching marks and also out of Japan).

And found out I need a special bracket to secure the spare tyre in.... it fits snug for now until the special bracket comes in 2 or so weeks, also out of Japan.

Bashed the fcuk out of my remaining crank pulley that rusted itself on to the crankshaft for 14 or so years.
No damages to the nose of the crank though so all good =) Cheering that the oil pump on this motor HAS been replaced to a TOMEI, not stressing bout oil pump issues now.

You're doing it wrong if you have to destroy a crank pulley to remove it from an rb...

crank pulley cracked as i was driving home, due to metal fatigue, never had a crack there when i bought the car.

managed to remove the bit that broke .Took the part off that stuck on the crank last night with the help of a can of wd40 later.

Put in 66L of fuel. Tank holds 68L, as you can see, I live my life on the edge.

Waiting for dad to come home so we can replace this funking leaking intake manifold gasket. Hopefully this fixes the funked idle sleep.gif

Nowhere to be found ph34r.gif

Only sticker I have is a little map of the Nürburgring Ring that I bought while at the Nurburg last year. Is on the Rear quarter window haha. Oh and a Forge Motorsport under the bonnet.

Can't wait for my intercooler to turn up so I can instal it and fill that gap in the grill!

Removed the spoiler off the red one, as it wasn't sealed properly and I'm sick of stuff in the boot getting wet. Ran out of light so duct taped over the holes. Classy!

Jumped on ebay and found a high mount brake light to mount on the parcel tray to keep it legal. $13.35 with priority shipping from HK. :thumbsup:Bargain!

Tomorrow's mission.. bypass the heater as that's where my coolant has been going. Passenger side carpet has green stains. Not sure if coolant or mould.. huh.gif
