Are they genuine te37s or those Vork Ravs?

They look like the real deal

Nice work. They look good on your car

Yeah I love the look. The 30 offset wasn't enough though ph34r.gif (as in would not clear brakes)

european offset is so backwards.

Stock wheel on the Alfa is +30 but basically the wheel looks like a +50 offset in design and has a "spacer" built into the mounting face of the wheel, about 12mm worth compared to any normal wheel.

I don't feel too bad, Ferrari also do this oopsie.gif

And people wonder why hardly anybody wants to buy from/deal with local automotive businesses anymore. Have just been into a general mechanics, a steering/brake shop and a bearing 'specialist' to have the supporting bearing swapped between the factory and quick-rack input shaft on my steering rack only to be told it was impossible/unable to be done without destroying the old shaft and bearing/etc. I know this is complete bullshit. Stopped in at Johnson Transmissions @ Brendale for a final opinion before giving up - the two old blokes there had it swapped in a minute and didn't charge me for it. Guess who's getting my business in the future.

Yay, rack is finally done.

Bought myself an 08 GLX triton 2 weeks ago and the first thing i did was fit up a UHF radio - a Uniden UHN7760NB remote head jobbie. Mounted the unit up under the dash hidden away.

Then came the 265/75R16 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 4 rib tyres on 16x8 sunnies (cruiser offset). Those motherfunkers were hanging out like wizard sleeves in a Valley alleyway at 2am.

Drove from the tyre shop in Osborne Park like that back to my house in Greenmount LOL. Via bunnings for some flares. Some might call it garden edging and well, they'd be 100% right but god damn the car looks good now:

Going for its first wheel tomorrow, up to Lancelin for the day and then an easy run through the Powerlines on Sunday.

I was asked to switch projects at work and they threw in a company car to sweeten the deal. Downside is, it's a Proton Jumpbuck ute with over 160k on the clock. So I went to fill it up yesterday for the first time and just grabbed the cheapest unleaded (91Ron) pump when I noticed it has a sticker inside the fuel cap flap saying to use 95Ron minimum laugh.gif It was pinging before, let's see how it goes now.

I agree, got ENZED to make my turbo oil feed, charged me $140 which i thought was a little excessive but oh well. Recently wanted it cut and another T piece fitted for an oil pressure gauge, simple job, I ring Pirtek first and ask them if they can do it and how much. "Dunno, you'll have to bring it in so we can see if we can do it or not". "Pirtek has been around for 30 years and you're telling me you dont know if you can cut a teflon braided oil line and fit a simple T piece in it?" Silence. funk off useless merchant bitch

Gave the daily Falcon a service and fitted some coilovers.

Need to Drop the front another 10-15mm and raise the rear a little so it sits even. Also need to fit a set of shorter bumpstops which should be here by the end of the week. biggrin.gif

Put it on a hoist at work, dropped lower strut braces, subframe and exhaust center section out,. Removed the swaybar, then put everything else back on. So happy I have no more squeaks and squeals!! Now to either leave it off or sort out a custom bar mounted externally.

Also found that my transmission fluid was waaaaay overfilled by someone... let all the excess drain out haha.

I bought a stock SR20DET with about 90 thou on it from Dave @ Japanese Parts and Performance for the time being. I'm in the process of putting that engine in and getting the car running/regoed etc.

Once that is out of the way, I'm stripping the blown engine down myself and rebuilding it.

Forged bottom end (Rods/pistons)
Block bored/honed/decked
Head decked
New valves/springs/retainers/cams/head studs etc
3071r

Will be a pretty decent build Aiming for 400hp

Serviced it, changed the scummy plugs, was overfuelling like a bitch, missing, backfiring

Was driving good again after! YAY! still needs a touch up tune. It's still a tad rich (this is after changing plugs, idling for about a minute

Washed the POS
