Engine: RB20DE 50,xxx ks

Exhaust: 2.5 inch system, muffler near diff into 3inch straight pipe

Suspension: Tein super street coilovers

Wheels: Koya drift teks 17x8.5 / 17x9

Modifications: Blits legal vented bonnet, alloy radiator, GTR front guards, Lock spacers, Exedy clutch, Front lip, Boot lip etc.

Stereo Audio / Visual: Clarion DVD player, Random front speakers that's it atm.

Estimated Power: 100kw, more than my old S13.

After selling my 1993 Nissan Silvia S13 to a friend ( The purple one in on of the pictures) , I was meant to buy a non JDM car and sit out the rest of my P plates. But after trying to convince myself and driving many lancers, corollas etc i just couldn't do it. I found this R32 4 door and it was perfect for what i wanted, Something i could take to the track and not have to worry about it being perfect. Being a 4 door was different as you don't see many around. I've had the car for about a month now, I've done some TLC in the interior and it's slowly getting tidied up and is really nice to drive and certainly turns heads!

As for future plans they're a bit vague atm, I am looking to swap the car i really want a Laurel or Auteched S13. If i do keep it my plans are;
Roof spoiler ( not dmax they're to massive and eww )
Diff needs a shim
Weld the Stainless steel twin pipes on
Upgrade Audio system, Alpine type R from speakers/amp/sub and some JVC tweeters
Rear pods
Repaint the bonnet, will go black if i get a carben roof spoiler
Hang ring off the back <3
HID lights
GTR front seats
Standard GTS/GTST Steering wheel
Personal number plates

That's pretty much it, The car is awesome to drive and has gotten me 550ks front a tank which i'm quiet surprised.

    Wow...

You want to avoid getting picked on by the police i understand that, and you want to still drive a skyline, i totally understand that.

Doesn't mean you have to make it look like a shitter. Tidy it up and you wont get raped.

    It's not just the paint.

Honestly, it's not tidy by any stretch of the imagination.

The stickers, the boot spoiler, the bonnet, the front bar it all screams "i'm a sh!t box, come get me officer"

I know the exterior needs a little bit of work, But interior is perfect. As for the exterior, Stickers i don't really care about. Boot spoiler looks a treat and will work well with a Roof spoiler. Front bar will more than likely be replaced with a GTR one and as for the bonnet it's worth 700 from blits. I think with a respray and the cable ties removed will become quiet clean, its a work in progress.

Clearly it is a work in progress, but that's not going to stop you getting the attention you said you don't want.

The stickers just scream "hey, young try hard inside, pull me over"

haha my thoughts exactly. Plus you didnt really explain why driving a non 'JDM' car didn't cut it. Your skyline is slow and most probably is nothing special to drive... you should have stuck to your original plan.

Yeah i understand, but i beg to differ, It's more a " P plater driving an import ". Just give it a few months and i'll update this.

Well, I enjoy driving. How could i enjoy driving a 1.5l 2 hours a day to and from work? Plus, I'm going to see how it will go around a track. We all have opinions, i think its nice to drive and the power difference is slightly better than my old SR20DE, gear ratios are slightly shorter though.

Most of the Corollas I have owned would be much faster than this. Not to mention I think the enjoyment of driving 2 hours to and from work would come from having a modern car with working air-conditioning and a nice ride. I guess whatever floats your boat... just don't complain when you get 'unfairly targeted' cause honestly if I was a cop I would pull that over and FIND a defect.

I'm not into modern cars sorry, and my air-con works just fine btw. All to their own.

    This.

funk stiff ride,sh!t engine, bucket seat, defectable homo trollies when you can be normal and drive a comfortable family sedan with all the comforts and none of the hassles to and from work. Especially for long drives.

IVe been there/Done that and im not saying i wont fall back into driving my import to and from work but owning a comfortable reliable daily is definitely the smart choice for a multitude of reasons.

2L NA 6 is a dogs breakfast for "Enjoying" your drive to and from work laugh.gif
4L 6 is where its at.

Give this guy a break, he is just posting up this ride. It's not the worst thing this site has seen and yet everyone is having a dig at him. It's a clean straight car, he didn't mention any stupid mods, said he was going to give it some TLC but people are pointing out the obvious of what he already mentioned.

I like it mate, good luck with it.

Its readers rides, people post up their cars to get other peoples opinions and thats what these guys are doing... If people cant handle the fact the others are going to dislike their car dont post it up, its that simple...

People are giving him crap because he said "It turns heads" giving you the impression he thinks it looks great. dunno.gif

If had of just said, "Here's my skyline that looks like the other 90% of crappy skylines in the JDM scene" we would of all just agreed and everyone would be happy.

Plus if people didn't hate these POS rides, their I love haters stickers would be pointless bowrofl.gif

I reckon its alright, the boot lip spoiler is a bit out of match with the rest of the car but a decent paint match should fix it. GL with it.

As stated above i put it up to " show it " and get some opinions. At the end of the day i have to drive the car, not you. I'm thinking I'll get it painted Midnight Purple code 1 from a R33 GTR, But then I'd probably keep it and mod plate it for an RB25DET Neo on my opens since the paint is $$$. I don't understand the hate towards stickers, never will understand. Anyway, thanks for the feedback wink.gif
