old thread was archived and i wanted to update it, so new one it is

engine: 232/234 cam, vcm otr intake, 25% UD pulley, mafless tune, extractors and a twin 3" exhaust made 384rwhp

Trans: npc hd clutch and stock 6 speed manual

suspension: pedders adjustable coilovers

wheels: 19x9.5 vertini magic with 235x35x19's

have been trying to go for the stanced look and just got these wheels fitted on friday, front offset im really happy with, rear i think will need a 5mm slip on spacer but need to roll and pump the guards first, and then i will lower it about 10-15mm further all round, but so far i love the look

    cant please everyone tongue.gif

ever since i saw the new m3's with the concave wheels i wanted them for the coupe, i could have easily fit on 8.5" wide wheels but they are pretty flat, i've never really been like funk yeh streched tyres but to comfortably fit the 9.5"s all round and have them sitting flush it had to be done

Least it's concave and not huge lips that you see every where now days. Still jealous as tongue.gif

Ruined it with silly tires imo. wheels look sick but, should have just gotten proper sized tires but im guessing they probs wouldn't fit anyway..

yeh unfortunately not, i think next time i'll go up to 245's and they should still clear, but they will still look stretched, theres not enough room to run a 265 or 275 sad.gif

thought about black, i actually wanted them in matte black but there was a 3 month wait on them, so i figured funk it, i'll get the silver ones and paint them later, but i actually really like the silver

although i think that opel looks pretty cool, thats a bit on the extreme side and would have looked sh!t on my car, but thats just my opinion. What i went for was a bit more towards what you see on alot of the newer corvette's and camaro's and alike when they give them good fitment in the US

    Lose the gay tail lights.
    Get commodore ones or something?
As with headligts. The altezza faze is dead.

Wheels look okay. But why you'd go any bigger then 18inch makes no sense, youcsn barely run a decent stretch, and prevent you from going lower
Get some 18's! Big wheels are outdated man.

Thanks for the input champ, the headlights and tail lights are actually the factory lights on these, as for the wheels I'm happy with them and wouldn't have wanted any more stretch, but that comes down to personal taste i guess

You realise those headlights and tail lights are standard?
and he didn't necessarily want stretched tyres either.

OT: I'm unsure about the concaves, not pronounced enough or something, but I do like the style of wheel you chose. Looking forward to seeing the end result thumbsup.gif

yeah i was reading it on the street commodores forum, that vp was one of the best i have seen, i own a vp aswell, just wondering about the saas seats you had in it, do they just fit straight in? and the back seats were saas swell??

thats my vp^^ i wanted to change the rims to silver/grey ones like yours or just put fat 6 spokes on it.
