Spent 4hrs detailing the exterior. Typically I need to spend another 1/2 hr doing odd bits here n there. Engine bay polish and interior are next on the hit list. I can see where you missed buddy, because everyone forgets this place! Also tradies in the backround, is miss bec lurking? My day I got creative, I blew off my blocker plate and couldnt get another. So off to bunnings to buy 4 pack only needed 1x 35mm door stopper And le hose clamp = blocked off! |

Attempted to make my headunit work again (after I pulled the switched live out because it was attached to a connector that I needed but disconnected and forgot about). Didn't work. Hmmmmmm fail. |

That'll be tomorrow's project now, I want music to drive with on the weekend lol. Hopefully complete sub installation tomorrow also. if you for some reason cant use the accessories wire you can always put it to constant power so you can switch the unit off and on as needed to get you by for the weekend last night i did a few things to the work car - led dome lights in the cabin and canopy - leds in the door lights - scotch guarded the interior going to buy some rubber matting, seat covers and few other bits and pieces today |

Pain in the ass turning the stereo on and off manually every time. Especially with an aftermarket one because of course they combine the power button and the band button so you need to hold it for ever for it to turn on and off. There is no accessories wire in the Alfas either, as the position on the ignition doesn't exist. |

How about splicing a relay into its power wire to trigger the radio's power? |

Oh I have the wire, it's just that there's clearly something else that's come apart while I was stuffing around back there.. so I'm going to have a look at the whole lot. The cigarette lighter is switched live anyway. Well, actually it depends on the year model of my car. The older ones have constant cig lighter power. |

Changed the battery after finding it had a lead acid in the boot. Put my Optima D34 in. Was also surprised there wasn't a fuse at the battery... |
