Yeah I'm really getting sick of driving a shitbox as a daily hahah.

I'm waiting on so many parts from the usa  Waiting on my front and rear sway links, stainless coolant resevoir, my solid subframe risers. I also ordered 20 genuine nissan wheel studs as well. $114 :\

We did an '07 Honda Accord with about that much Dynamat, such a nice thud when you closed the doors. Absolutely zero road noise at all.

Doesn't even look like it has a throw. Perhaps the box is sitting lower than we all think?

Installed sti pedal set bought 2nd hand off eBay for $40!!! I was expecting them to be in ordinary condition. To my surprise they came almost as new.. My guess is the guy bought them and then went to DIY realized you have to take the whole accelerator pedal assembly out in order to do the accelerator and gave up.

I don't even need to heel toe anymore can reach using big toe on brake and pinky toe on accelerator they are that close together now  prob one of the cheapest mods I've done and has made driving so much more fun..and heel toe-ing so easy.

oh wow

Im thinking of doing the roof of mine, its something that ive always wanted to do in previous cars but have been worried about the massive roof lining. 180 should be more manageable. From reports from people who have done it, the roof makes the biggest difference in cutting out noise and heat.

Scared to pull it all apart though. Not sure i want to know whats hiding behind carpets, etc in this car.

edit: i insured it - $96 a month full comp for agreed value of 11k......not that there was much agreeing in the value but i thought it was generous

also added some DIY CAI consisting of two lengths of 40mm flexi (conduit) and some cable ties......used two lengths cos i didnt have anything bigger

and ziptied the Pod to its "bracket" that didnt really hold it at all

Yeah man if you check out my blog, there isn't much that i DIDN'T dynamat lol.

Today, I stripped the body loom down, cleaned the wires and re taped it up. Mounted all of my push type zip ties ready to tie down the loom. I cut off the two ABS seat belt pretensioner wires as well as the wires for the cat sensor. I hate unnecessary wiring.

Drove it a fair bit and got a quick vid of it idling on my phone. Not the best sound quality especially when I give it a rev. :P

Yesterday my bro fitted my amp. I took apart the dash to reach the headunit, reconnected a wiring harness which I had accidentally disconnected. Now I have no music but headlight adjusters and mirrors now work. Just gotta tap into ignition wire and run the RCAs etc and I will have hectic doof doofs.

Already been approached a few times for it. Features and shit don't really interest me that much. dunno.gif I'll do them all when I'm ready and when I feel the car is finished. At the moment, its about 98%.
As I said we'll see how I go in about 2wks time. Might end up being one of the last features for the month. wavey.gif
