Engine: 249cc

Exhaust: Musarri carbon fibre slip on (Only put it on due to the fact that no other traffic can hear you which can be pretty dangerous. It has a silencer in, With it taken out it's a bit silly for a 250)

Suspension: Stock

Modifications: The only modification on the bike when i purchased it was the eliminator kit and the rear LED & Indicator tail light. Since owning i've blacked out the windscreen, Thrown on a tank pad, Put the wheel stripes on, And fitted the Slip on exhaust. The only other thing that will be done is putting on the rear seat cowl when i receive it. I wouldn't do any performance mods due to the fact that it is a first bike, i'm a new rider and it's only a 250.

Estimated Power: According to wiki 26.4 hp @ 11,000 rpm (rear wheel)

As i said, it's my first bike and i'm a relatively new rider. I think it looks great for what it is and it sure beats driving a car... Until i ride to work at 5:30am in winter. All around it's a good bike and pretty much brand new with 4500 kms. I service it religiously every 2000-3000 kms and it has a very good life!

I think i'll have it for a couple year before wanting an upgrade but you never know! Let me know what you think smile.gif

    Nice first bike.

Where are you sourcing the rear cowl from? and how much? (if you don't me asking)

I really wish they would stop calling all their bikes "ninjas"

It really has forced it to lose all meaning now.

    Nice bike though, colours work.

I definitely agree, When you seen a Ninja back in the day you were all like, That thing is quick. But yeah. I guess it's a marketing thing

the motorbike wreckers at moss st sell seat cowls for these. i think they were $80 form memory.
apart from the 250 there still isnt such a thing as a slow ninja, even the 250 is alot quicker then most other 4 stoke 250s.
enjoy it mate, they are an awsome bike to thrash around on.

Not bad, these look so much better with clip ons tho. And tips - don't ride on the redcliffe penisula, I got defect for my fender eliminator and apparently having a slip on exhaust makes the bike ineligible to be LAMS approved.
