Hello, At around 6am this morning 4th may 2012, My brothers genuine Holden HSV vl Walkinshaw was stolen from inside his garage in ormeau. Nobody was home at the time as my brother is up in mackay for work and his wife had just gone to work. This was obviously a planned theft, the car had never been shown to daylight apart from 2 quick drives around the block in last couple years,always been under a car cover with the garage closed. The car had no battery, the fuel pump is not working, the keys werent in it and the steering lock was on. even if all them items were in their advantage they wouldnt of been able to start the car due to a full touchtech alarm immobiliser system. The only way they could of removed the car from the premises was to skull drag it onto a tilt tray. The car stands out like a pig in shit, been a rare walkinshaw, the build number is no. 056! the car is the original panorama silver in colour , it has champange gold wheels as seen in the photos. the engine bay is all tupac gold, not your ordinary engine bay. They came for one thing only, considering i had my 07 gsxr 750 sitting there with the key in it and helmet and stuff, but that was left untouched. If ANYBODY has any info or seen this car on the tow truck or anything about this that can help , please let me know. It is so disheartening just to know after 7 years hes finally paid it off to have it taken by some deadset scumbags. It is build no. 056. No amount of money will replace such a car if you know about them and their history. I strongly believe youd have better luck finding a unicorn under your bed then another car like this. |

Sons of mother bitches. That sucks ass big time. An idea might be to have a look around your area thats close by for any businesses that have a security camera that might have picked up something. You never know, a business might have a camera outside their shop or one even faceing out the front door of their shop that caught the tilt tray or car and tandem trailer going past. It would be worth the while checking. |

I dont want to be a downer but that car is gone there would have been a ready list of people looking for parts off of it becuase you just dont move a car like that straight away dits to recognisable and being an early build number makes it more desirable sorry mate good luck finding it surley the neighbours would have seen something especially if it was that imobilised |

Highly doubt they used a tilt tray service, that would expose the driver and any helpers, plates, or even make, model tow truck. |

This is happening more often now, one of the guys on the ford forums had his FPV F6 stolen and it was spotted that day on a tow truck with parts already missing from it. chances are they are also using a stolen tow truck too. OP - that sucks, I would hate to be in your brothers situation right now, I couldn't imagine putting that much money and effort into something just to have some low life decide he needs it more |

Someone has seen the car in the garage at some point and told people it's whereabouts.. Highly likely a neighbour or someone who lives nearby has walked past or spied it through their front window when the garage door was open. THIS once parts start to go missing off it, the value will plummet!Also this is the theory I would be supporting,as far as the perpetrators. |

Plain white tilt tray, stolen plates, "average" looking bloke. Takes less than 2 - 3 minutes after breaking in to be leaving according to the cops. Lot of cars like this are "stolen to order" which is why nothing else gets taken when the house is broken in, to alleviate the chance of being caught hanging around longer. |

I'd say HSV is right. Cars like this, given the outlined circumstance are not stolen by chance, or by anyone whom doesn't know what they are doing. Given it wasn't in currnent driveable condition, they didn't intend to just joyride it. |

First of all, my sympathies to you and your bother mate. It's a heartbreaking loss. Secondly, they say the art to a con is to look like you're meant to be there. For example, that furniture in shopping centres. Two blokes in high vis shirts, obviously well worn- in, a cap on and sunnies on the other blokes head, shorts and work boots walk in, pick up the lounge and carry it out the back door. Who would notice? Looks like an ordinary day to day event. It's the same for these sorts of thefts unfortunately. The sad fact of the matter is that there is a large number of cars stolen to order. I hope it was insured. |

ive spied a walky on morayfeild rd a couple of times the last couple of days.... different wheels and on a trade plate... but if seen again ill sus it out for ya |

another lot of neighbours walking said they had seen the car rolling down the hill with these two stated scumbags in it, trailing behind it was a ford falcon around a 2005 model or so, dark blue in colour, nsw plates with the plate ending in 661. |

Wife heard nothing whilst fuel pump and immobiliser being replaced/removed. From 6:10- 6:30, wife hheard absoluetly nothing. Sounds suss to me. |
