is there any thing i can do to try a prevent the head gasket going ........so far the plan for the car is shocks springs breaks paint panel then look at light motor mods till i can work out what im doing in the future.........going kyb shocks with king springs use this set up in quite a few road cars and its pretty good dont know what to use for breaks yet so any suggestions would be good the body of the car is strait with no rust. the in side in the nicest ive seen in a 20 year old car electric every thing (no sun roof) with rego i paid 1800 only down side was some bright spark painted pink stripes on it.......it was used to tow a caravan and has done heaps of km over 300 000 but as i do not count on keeping the motor it shouldnt be too muck of a prob |

you should join toyotacressida.net there is so much info on there its not funny. as for brakes just get r33 skyline front calipars (4piston) with ba/bf xr6 turbo disc and it will bolt up. you should get new lines made just because there getting old but the old ones still fit. best/ easyest brake upgrade ever. coilovers will be better but depending on budget kings etc will be good but they still sit high even with superlows. there is a thread on cressida forums about rav4 struts up front and i think jza70 rear for shorter travel shocks? which will make it sit nice. |

yer mate, efi, sean seems to tune to what the engine will safely produce rather than what numbers the customer wants which is what i like to see...ive got a shiny new gt3076r sitting there ready to go on, just pricing gates then its getting all manifold and pipe work made up...probly going the 44mm tial gate...needing injectors too if anyone has any drop in 600cc + nengun do the sard ones but im a bit suss on buying from overseas :S |

Run perfect even if your no way near max duty cycle. and can pick them up new for 600 |

sean (efi) said for the power i wanna make anything over 550cc will be a waste and just increase fuel economy...so i bought from the states a top feed rail kit, sard reg and 550 bosch direct plug in injectors for 650 delivered...with stock head i cant see anymore than 400rwhp being made so they will do for the time been |

i had 870cc injectors on pump fuel with 450rwhp when i first did my conversion and it was cheaper on fuel then my is200 stock as long as its tuned well its only going to use what it needs and the rest returns to the tank. id1000s are pretty good but if you already have some i wouldnt bother. but most guys say they only want 300-400 and end up going more like me lol. im running 1200s in my 2jz on e85 and still is really good on fuel. as for the stock head making no more then 400 guess again. i seen a 100% stock 1jz with boltons making 500rwkw |

i want a responsive 400rwhp see we'll see how when go when gameday comes...need a wastegate then its off to fabricator...anyone selling a 44mm? prefferable tial http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/44MM-Turbo-Stai...=item3cc605ed10 Check this persons 44mm wastegates. The above is the one I have on my car, currently holding a steady and dead on 25psi on 568hp For 50 bucks, its worth its money including additional postage costs. They have mini 44mm wastegates aswell. save ya money spending 300 bucks on a tial gate, where the above is just as good |
