and for once, the headunit is mounted right! I swear it's a VB-VL Commodore owner syndrome.... Allergic to filing down the edges of the surround so the headunit seats properly. Definitely needs new rims, aside from that it's quite tidy, good to see not the typical overdone VL shitheap with 3 million KMs and just as many owners. |

Most aftermarket head units dont fit in properly because of the air con unit, you literally cant push them back far enough to seat properly. The back of the head units just hit the air con. As for the car its great, keep the color combo! |

It's just people don't know how to modify the dash correctly to flush mount it. |

Very fucking nice mate. I would be inclined to go a 355, something about a vl pumping out a healthy v8 note is just sexy! |

I dont like the fronts on VL but this is pretty clean I love VLC front They can't go back any further and you modify it most likely gonna look worse then it dose. I know the wheels are worth heaps cause they genuine not copies they would just sit in my shed. And thanks for all the comments guys I think i know what engine option you should go OT:Beautiful Calais mate Steelies for wheels and put the rims in storage for a rainy day. |

Have you even tried fitting one before? Uh, yea just a couple It's just people don't know how to modify the dash correctly to flush mount it. This. It's just lazy backyard installers who don't spend the time fitting them properly. It doesn't matter if the car has A/C or not, you can still flush mount them properly. You think heaps of P platers drive VLs now? it was worse back in the mid 90s, I used to do atleast one install a week on a VL. |
