The large one on the turbo side of the motor plmbs back into the piping on the cold side of the turbo (pre-compressor). On my vehicle I just removed the piping right the way back to the plenum and stuck a small filter on the plenum where it joins back to |

I removed a 1J from a half cut last weekend and can tell you I'm quite certain that I didnt need to disconnect it from the body... will check out the motor next time I am back to it to confirm for you yeah got all that sorted, its just that real small one under the idle choke hose hose that runs into the manifold. thats a photo of a stock one i found |

off memory that small hose is for the factory bov so its not needed and you can just block it off at the intake, for rwc you will technically have to run the large hose for the idle air control back into the intake pipe to |

he is on the money..... as ive just finished my single turbo setup....... Thanks but yeah thats the first thing I did, blocked it off but once I did that it wouldn't idle? Maybe the computer has to reset itself or something? |

Cold start isnt working then ! At warm is it ok ?? Yours make boost ok ? Well yeah the old owner was driving it with it sucking air not blocked off, and boosts good nothing wrong there.. Might have to take it for a drive with it blocked off |
