Alrighty, so.

This is My new car, originally was a ca18de Auto. Stripped the SR out of a 180sx and fitted it with a manual gearbox.
It's pretty much basic as, that's how it'll stay - engine wise. no point doing up a N/A

what's next is;
- coilovers
- respray from the rank green it is at now to black.
- different rims - any idea's ?
- install those smoked tail lights at some stage.
- Give it a good service
- skyline brakes.
- take off that visor on the sunroof.

Bought this to be a clean, cheap daily.
enjoy, and ANY comments are welcome.
chances are it'll be changed anyway.

Actually looks better than i thought.

    - Lower it abit more
    - Change rear tail lights
    - Change the exhaust tip
    - Clean the inside up
    - Change the yukky front seats.

How much did it set you back?

yeah, agree with all of that.
I have the tail lights so far.

    Uhh, 5 Grand cash.

With rwc, 6 months rego and more spares then you can poke a stick at.

RACQ went over it, said it was pretty decent. So I jumped on it.

Thats not bad at all for a decent looking s13. Maybe chuck a roof spoiler in aswell.

Keep it clean and you will have no probs.

Don't paint it black, unless you do the door trims and engine bay etc. My list would be:

    Extractors
    OEM rear lights
    Coilovers
    S15 front seats

And maybe do the timing chain if it hasn't been done. Looks tidy though

Yeah extractors are probably the only performance mod i'd be doing.
    Thanks for the opinion too.

Keep it green, Hit it with a good polish and keep it tidy, A proper respray / colour change will set you back quite an amount
As stated spend cash on wheels, coilovers etc.. Look for GTR seats if you can get some for a decent price..

That sunroof is the result of aids and herpes having a baby. It looks gay as fuck. Otherwise, real clean man. Good catch!

Nice man, Yeah that sunroof visor thing needs to go? Or can't it? I'd change the paint, tidy it up and go from there. Hope you enjoy it, and 5k is a decent price.

that green is a mad colour.
Sunroof visors and visors in general are cool and rare to have now. it's not 2005 man were nothing but a big kit, wheels and tacky lights are cool.

If i were you i'd get factory option aero kit and find some window visors to go with the sunroof visor, and put your standard lights back on.

You are forgetting your car is from the 80's. Black paintjob and those tail lights are not going to make it modern.
Make it look period correct with a nice set of 16's, all visors on and a a nice lip kit or factory aero.

PS, if you take the visor off sell it on ebay for 150, the boys over in the US of A will snap it up fast smile.gif

You don't need to replace the chain in these motors.

The chain will outlast the motor.

    Who dat
    Post #24

Sunroof visor > rare. Keep the original paint cause you dont see many s13's with that colour anymore, just give it a CA front lip, roof spoiler, original tail lights, drift pipes and rota grids smile.gif
