Engine: rb30

Exhaust: stainless steel mufflers on factory piping

Suspension: Original - dropping 30 mil soon with all new suspension

Wheels: vx police interceptors

Modifications: not a lot, mostly restoration, advanced timing, all new oils, high quality filters, doing new suspension and brakes soon, and respray (same colour) after easter, fitted power steering recently and some old school louvers wink.gif

Stereo Audio / Visual: basic pioneer set up

Estimated Power: 140hp?

Any constructive criticism would be nice smile.gif

    thanks mate, yeh i didn't want to change it around much, mostly interested in giving it a bit more go, the paint isn't quite as nice in real life as it seems in the photos but

    nice, calais front would be alright. Don't put a pod on it either, engine bay looks fairly clean. good luck dude

    yeah, i have a k@N panel filter, was thinking of calais front end for a while, but i think i prefer the commodore look personally, Cheers smile.gif

    thank you, i actually inherited this car, the owner before me was in his late 80s and passed on and left me the car, so i try to keep it clean as can be

    If you change anything put some extractors on it, can pick them up for like $100. And don't add a pod filter! Looks clean hope you keep it to that standard, nice daily.

    planning on putting extractors about about the same time i do tint (couple weeks after my paint job) and yeah i find the idea of a pod filter a bit puzzling, more of a panel filter person haha cheers

    haha i wont, i have a excel for every day use, the vl is my sunday car and its one of those cars that teaches you a lot about mechanics, cheers for the compliment

    You know its grandpa spec when its got a tape deck with a graphic equalizer and a clock instead of a tach.

    I normally hate anything VL but it's nice to see a tidy unmolested example. thumbsup.gif

    Very nice except the interior color and steering wheel. I don't mind a decent vl and that is what you have mate so good luck with it and top effort. Glad to see its not gonna receive chopped springs, cut/dumped factory exhaust and a pod lol.

    haha nuh, im a little curious as to why it left the factory canary yellow? i thought it was only bt1's sold that colour, perhaps it was a cancelled contract?
