Yes for the money spent i prob could have bought a real evo, ive heard that so may times smile.gif
I wanted to build something different and a 2door,the car weighs about 150kgs lighter than an EVO wink.gif
I actually got my eyes on an EVO8 to use as my daily smile.gif

Pretty much what everyone told me aswell but I didn't end up getting the AWD conversion done, did it cost much? It was probably almost more fun than my 180 and wrx to drive haha

I don't mind it, I think you've done a good job. But I couldn't justify spending all that money on that car. Kudos tho

    Cheers guys,
It is very fun to drive, but not in the wet, soon as it hits boost it wants to slide coz of the LSD
All the work as in engine conversion, rebuild, awd conversion, mods where all done by My brother, my best mate and myself.. so i saved a HUGE amount there

The car wasnt meant to have alot of money thrown on it, but once u start the mods, u sorta find it hard to stop laugh.gif

Why ? So it looks like every other boring EVO. This looks different. Good work.

I was gonna leave it wingless until i seen this for sale overseas, ive always loved a nice lip, sorta reminds me of old school, I also had to get a bulge formed in the bonnet to clear the engine hehe

I done the engine conversion around 6 years ago and taken it to WSID a fair few times, quickest time i ever got FWD was a 13.1@106mph, but unfortunately i didnt get a video, but i do the slip smile.gif

Here is a vid of the car doin 13.4 FWD

Hopefully the weather will be nice on Feb 19th, im planning to take the car to WSID on the Sunday Street Meet, hopefully see a 12sec pass lol

More pics of the whole conversion etc below

    Cheers mate,
Ive decided that the 3.9 ratio is crap, good for track but crap for highway driving, so im changing to a 3.5 smile.gif
Gettin a custom airbox made up as we speek, then i can throw the new rocker cover, catch can, 1000cc inj and aeromotive fuel regulator and go for a power tune on 22-24psi... hopefully get the 350hp smile.gif

Nice clean setup, would surprise alot at the lights. New wheels would be nice, bit to 90's for those current wheels.

Well drove 2hrs in the stinking hot 30+ degree heat to the drag strip, 8 1/2 passes on 15psi boost laugh.gif end of the day i was stoked to get my best time of a 12.58 @ 103mph with a 1.733 60' then drove the car 2hrs back home facesjump.gif

Next mod is coilovers and then a proper tune on high boost
