998cc DOHC injected

Exhaust:
Full Micron system including headers

Suspension:
Stock telescopic front and stock rear

Wheels:
Stock with red tape

Modifications:
Headers, Oggies, screen, dampener, braided break lines, wave discs, RK sprocket kit (Smaller), commander, flush led indicators, k & n filters and dyno tune.

Stereo Audio / Visual:
Pipes at top end of third is music to me

Estimated Power:
Approx 179

    Would be quicker in the twisties.

    Mint looking bike. It should have 175hp btw.

    Too right, I passed two blokes on 1098's over the weekend on my 600.
    I don't think younger blokes with thou's (as they were in this case) enjoy being passed by a "little 600"

    I wouldn't be either tongue.gif I must say that 600's are geared better and would have all the power right there and then.

    lol yeah, them on their sexy Italian superbike, and me on my $9000 jap 600.

    yeah the only issue with following 1000's I find is the punch on the exit of corners that they have, but if I maintain a good speed and decent rpm in corners it keeps the gap they pull out to a minimum.

    yes some blokes enjoy the cat and mouse game on there italian made bikes and there are always the others who absolutly hate it with a passion the joys of a light and nibble bike where you dont have to watch the snap in the throttle on the exits of corners without getting highsighted lol

    Only issue with litre bikes is the next corner and high sights. CAN'T BE AFRAID TO GET ON THE HAUNCHES.

    I would happily go back to a 600 if I spent most weekends at the mountains or track, but for the track day I do every few months and the odd mountain run I actually get to do, the 1000 is easier to live with for the regular day to day stuff

    I'd be keen, but my rear tyre is shot.

    + Suzuki has put out a factory recall on my bike sad.gif lol

    Does qr website have trackday info up? Do you need a race license like a cams?

    No. Just a normal bike license.
    google: Champions Ride Days. They do QR and Lakeside all the dates and prices are there.

    keen as hell for a ride and im in the mountains every chanc i get though this weekend isnt good for me as for im busy but Glasshouse51 and LIBej20g pm when use are ready to go for a run or msg me ill pm u my number always keen to meet more riders

    Yeah I'm hoping to have the bike sorted next week. So maybe that weekend.
    Where do you live? Im near Landsborough, there's a fair few good rides out west from here.

    You talking about Maleny,Montsville and the back of beerwah?. The road i have fallen in love with would be either Nebo or Mt Mee. Go Mt Mee and keep going til the T intersection then turn left and keep following it til you hit Maleny.

    What is the big ass block in then centre of your triple tree's?

    Yeah peachester to maleny then kenilworth and back. Don't usually do obi obi cause the road across the top of the range to get home is fucking painful.

    Yeah Mt Mee is a good ride, woodford to the cafe' on top etc.

    The block is a steering dampener

    Pitstop has good food on Mt Mee drive or w/e it is.Yeah its painful being on a full race crouch.

    mmmmm peachester run i love it. These days I think i know Mt Mee like the back of my hand Im up there that much haha. and yer being in race crouch all day hurts but that is the punishment we take for our fun

    I haven't experienced it in the dry yet,was going up last weekend but the cops had the blitz on,got a few more things to do on my bike before i head out again.

    Look for a Thunderace with the right head light on and me shitting myself tongue.gif

    Ive got a 05 zx636 (green and black underbelly) and i havent been up peachester for awhile but there are still roadworks at Mt Mee dry.gif makes it so much slower lol

    At least you got the model with the pipe under the tail,can lean it more without thinking your going to scrape the pipe. You got braided brake lines?

    Peachester is more or less a place to warm the tyres these days. It's got a lane closed (been that way for atleast a year). And there's new drains put in across the road everywhere, so it's bumpy. But still not THAT bad.

    I've only done mt mee once sad.gif haha. The run I do most weekends, I rarely see a cop at all. In the year I've been riding road bikes, I've seen one cop on the good stretch (not gonna name the road, but it's a very fun stretch at speed). If/when we go for a ride, you will know lol
