Nice, If it was mine i would stick with the volvo diff over a heavy old chunk of a 9". the dana built volvo diffs are extremely strong and there is a huge range of ratio's available. what gearbox are you running? Yep, Volvo diffs are very tough. If you want a higher ratio they come in 3.5 (which I have here if your interested?) and various others. |

nice looking car mate..... unless your making 450 plus rwhp looking at a 9 in is a waste of time.... the 355 i have in the pipeline should make a healthy 400 plus at the rear wheels and all im doing is upgrading the axles to 31 spline and centre to suit in a BW housing and just as strong as a 9 in with less the weight to turn and carry. The volvo diff is very stong mate but if you want to change you could go a BW out of a commodore and have it cut down to suit and a good set of 28 splines and ratio to suit will be quite good behind the 6 cylinder mate plus the option is there to go 31 splined etc later |
