hey guys thaught i might post up my new project
its a 77 hx 1 tonner with a 1uz v8, i baught it as is. in the next few months i'll be turboing it with a Garrett 4088, tial wastegate, and adaptronic ecu. all work will be done by amauto. the factory auto box will be shift kitted, stalled and a different control box. the diff will be removed in place for a falcon ute diff as they are 28 spline lsd, disk brakes and leaf sprung, will put in 3.7 gears. im aiming for 500hp as a silly run on the dyno with 25psi but i want it to be reliable so for the street im aiming for 380hp which is more than enough for a ute. i'll be changing the tray to a tube tray and the bench seat will also be going.

the body has the typical kingswood rust spots, once the turbo setup is saughted i'll start the bodywork. will also be copping a colour change.. any suggestions? hoping to have it ready for powercruise this year.
