It's been two years now since i first posted the build of my VL (2 PLAY ) and it's finally nearly finished!!!!!!! just a few finishing touches to go. Power play here we come

    I usually and I mean 99% of the time HATE VL's

    And I only ever open the threads for lol purposes....

    But mate.... WOW

    This is incredable!! Love the engine bay, and the interior is mint. Best street driven VL I've seen ever!!
    Only thing I don't like is the wheels, they nearly cheapen it.
    Maybe paint the centers black and leave the dish chrome!

    looks nice mate could be a tad lower in the rear maybe another 1 inch would be the go looks a bit high. Are you running coilovers in the front the only criticisim i have is if your in QLD the bonnet is not legal as you have cut the centre support brace and not added support braces in the centre of the bonnet may not sound much but get pulled over by state traffic squad and they will fine you as you have weakned the structural integrety of the bonnet had it happen to me with the vk mines now braced and no dramas... is the car for show and cruise or go fast and cruise

    Exceptional effort mate. Only 2 bones to pick, needs more low, and the lights on the dash are a bit tacky, maybe try insert them into the cluster or something?

    Maranello is a nice red btw, my mates VL is the same color, looks great when its clean lol.

    Wheels too big and blingy, takes away from the muscle theme and makes it look cheap. Go a factory alloy 18 or 19 or some convo pros or similar. and needs some calais plastics n skirts on the sides.. looks hell tidy but, i like the door cards and speedo work too.

    Lower the front, leave the back that height.

    Very fucking impressed mate! Great work! The only things i would change is ride height (needs to be a bit lower), steering wheel, pedals and the shift light/lights on the dash.

    About the ride height, i havent lowered it i have just set the coilovers to that height just so it makes it easier the get on and off the trailer and i never went for the whole calais trim because every one does it and i reckon it looks better like this

    man this thing looks sweet, love the colour and the look front on. pretty much like all of it except i really like the calias trim on the side skirts, but i appreciate that everyone else does it. not sure on the 4 stage shift light thing?? and the old seat belt buckles kinda look old compared to that absolutely mint interior. did i mention how much u like the colour. and im a big fan of VL head and tail lights, they are so understated, look mint.

    The lights on the dash are not all shift lights the three on the left are warning lights ( oilpressure, electric water pump, thermo fans)

    looks mint man but 2 things fuck them wheels off it jsut doesnt go wit the old school theme with the carby through the bonnet and get a smaller air cleaner other than that fuckin SICK
