Been thinking since I have a bit of time off I'd like to paint my S13 two tone, trouble is I'm not really sure what colour to do it?

If anyone has some suggestions hit me! Attached a photo of my car so you can see it as it is now.

Note: The area I want to paint is the lower half as in the factory two tone ones, starting just below the door.

I was thinking something like gold or gunmetal grey.

Original post might as well have been:

Hi, I have a commo and like to reinforce the unintelligent stereotype that comes with owning one

I like the one above but I was going to try and keep the door trims and engine bay same colour as the exterior, my first thought were that grey with my circuit green^^

Yeah I love that combination, hard to pass up a clean two tone white/champagne s13. If I was going to do engine bay and inside trims I'd be going that scheme. Interesting gold that though, could work with my green.

Go black, match your wheels, wont stand out like dogs balls, and easy to touch up

That's an interesting thought, haven't seen it done before.

Just saw this and I might change my green as well

You know when good looking girls talk to you, and at the end of it, you have no idea what they jsut said because you spent the whole time thinking about all the horrible, unforgivable shit you want to do to them...

Thats what happens when you write things on here... I get caught up staring at your car, then I lose track of where the story was going.

Went down to the paint shop today, so many colours to choose i'd never know! So at the moment I'm leaning towards keeping the green on top and doing the bottom half as seen above in either silver or pearl. I haven't seen it done before and would be good to have something different. Will keep you guys posted, more ideas welcome as I haven't brought the paint just yet!

Finished painting today, actually turned out quite alright and pretty unique. Still need to sand, cut and polish/tidy up but here's a sneak peak of the back.
