Engine: Stock Alloytec

Exhaust: Pacemaker extracters, Hi-flow cats, 2 1/2 inch cat back

Suspension: Lowered pedders

Wheels: Stock 17's

Modifications: Exhaust, Window tint, Hardcover, Full black leather interior

Stereo Audio / Visual: Stock 6 stacker

This is my new ute, picked it up yesterday. I'm planning on painting my stock rims black until I get enough money for something bigger. As well as lowering a bit more down the track.
Let me know what you think and maybe hit me with some ideas.
Also, if anyone knows how to remove/disable the automatic aerial that would be good.

    Ot: painting stock wheels black will look good! A bloke had one of these up on here a while ago, same colour but a ss and had ss thunder 18's in gloss black. Looked mint!

    If you're gonna get that dint fixed on your front qtr, get your tail gate de-badged while you're at it smile.gif

    The automatic arial (spelling) should only come up when listening to the radio?

    Yeah, I love that ute. I was thinking of getting SS Fluted guards rather then fixing them, because i have a dint in the other side as well :/ but that will be down the track a bit.

    oh ok, i thought it just come up automatically.

    Idk where you're from, but theres a bloke wrecking a vz ss in marsden. Still has fluted guards, cant remember what colour (think impulse blue) so youd have to get em painted anyway.. he was selling the whole car without gearbox,motor,interior,diff for $700!

    If i find it ill post u the link man smile.gif

    Nevermind, its a sedan.... OT, Tidy ute, looks good, please don't fuck it up with gay UNIT stickers, blacked out rims and a loud as shit exhaust and chev badges.. Just keep it tidy.

    Good colour too, Turismo Blue my favourite colour in all holdens, wish they made it avail for VE HSV range

    Can't go wrong with black rims, although it seems to be the trend at the moment which does kill it a little. Keep stickers off it all together! If you are looking at lowering it go SL in front and SSSL in the rear. Same combination in my ute. Other than that, keep it tidy and on the road!

    Looks tidy and yes sedan guards will fit.

    Flettys ute also just as nice. I've owned a few VY-VZ utes over the years, still love the Turismo Blue more than any colour.

    Leather interior is wicked, and it's manual! Keep it fairly clean and easy on the right foot, they use allot of fuel around town

    Do you have much trouble scraping out with yours that low? The previous owner of mine had the ute lower and claimed he went through 2 exhaust systems from scraping out? I found it a little hard to believe IMO. And also, did you have any issues fitting your wheels? did you just roll your guards or...

    When you drive something lowered, you tend to take alot more care with it, I avoid roads i know are rough, and know what carparks/driveways i can and cant get into. Some people will say that's stupid and whats the point of it been that low, but each to their own at the end of the day!

    You may have issues with your tail section ( Which is the section that sits lowest under your diff ) Scraping. I can't imagine going through 2 systems but, Yea it will get a fair workout with scrapes and dints, but this shouldn't affect the performance unless your manage to put a hole in it..

    The wheels are only Factory Holden Thunder wheels, so there only 18x8 with standard offset. I even run wider tyres (245, they come with 235 ) and haven't had any issues. My rear gaurds are rolled, but you can still safely run 20's with 240/30 with no scrubbing with that spring set-up and not rolling your guards.

    yeah ok. Im aware that i will have to be careful, but it will be well worth it when its sitting like yours is. I have to get myself out of dept before I start spending money on it though. But its good to find out this information now.
